A late 19th century glazed and sliding door pine cabinet, the interior lined in green fabric and with twelve bridle hooks, 202cm by 56cm by 143cm; and an associated 19th century pine sideboard, with four fielded cupboard doors enclosing shelves, on bracket feet, 169cm by 59cm by 87cm (2)Glazed cabinet one of the glass panes is missing. Generally scuffed but no major faults. Door slightly stiff to slide. Cupboard base no major faults however timber faded and dry. previous handle marks to cupboard doors. Section of moulding missing on the top section of the left hand cupboard door.
A pair of Regency style mahogany brass grill door cabinets . 87.5cm wide by 85cm high by 42cm deep. Tops with staining and surfaces are slightly faded. Some small chips to veneers and scuff marks. Gilt mounts are discoloured. Bottom skirting's with small chips and scuff marks. Front doors to both cabinets with staining to cloth insert. Interior shelves with small chips. Moulding around front doors with chips.
A 19th century mahogany veneered secretaire a abbatant . Surfaces are discoloured in parts. Top drawer slightly dropped. Marble top with damage, with large crack and some pieces missing. Several large cracks to the front and signs of old repair and filling to cracks with splices. Several smaller cracks to the front and the side. Bottom doors with signs of repair and several cracks, left hand side bottom door with key hole filled. Small chips to veneers, base with some scuff marks. Fall front locked and there is no key. 146.5cm by 102.5cm by 46cm.
A mahogany eight day longcase clock, signed Scurr, Thirsk, circa 1800, broken arch pediment, arched trunk door flanked by inlaid canted corners, 13-inch arch painted dial, seconds and date dials, arch signed, four pillar movement with a falseplate stamped Walker & Hughes, anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 225cm high27.03.18, Hood door with cracks to veneers in parts, case has been polished, trunk left hand side canted corner with small scratches and scuff marks, dial is clean, movement is clean, with two weights and a pendulum.
An 18th Century Chinese black lacquer cabinet on stand, engraved brass fittings, the whole with gild decoration of chinoiserie scenes, double door opening to a fitted interior with drawers, on a later stand with bracket feet, height 95cm, width 92cm, depth 48cm CONDITION:Top: several areas to back missing lacquer down to carcass. Discolouration in parts, some lifting/warped areas intermittently all over the top surface. LHS of cabinet: top edge missing 4 parts (max 4cms). Bottom edge chipped to carcass. Front LHS door: bottom hinge present but loose and this has left corresponding damage where previously attached. Door handle missing and both of the left side of central brass panel are broken off and not present. Some cracks to the lacquer with a 3cm most noticeable . One crack from top of door coming down. Another noticeable to bottom right near corner bracket. Inside of the door in nice condition. RHS of cabinet : back top corner piece missing piece. Missing veneer to bottom back right which has been recoloured as restoration. No tom LHS damaged lacquer. RHS front door : crack running down the centre of the door and some cracks to the bottom. All hinges and brass present and attached. Inside of the door is scratched, bottom has lifted vneer and the panel is cracked down through the centre. Inside the cabinet: opening to reveal 14 painted drawers. All drawers handles are present and securely attached. Painting colour is good but dirty. Some chips to the edges of the drawers. Top right drawer is missing a piece of lacquer underneath the handle. Bottom right drawer has damaged lacquer to base. Cabinet stand: all legs sound and strong.
