An early 20th Century three-piece figured walnut bedroom suite, comprising: a wardrobe with three ornately panelled doors with quarter veneered centre panels with ebony stringing, opening to reveal double hanging space, sliding trays and drawers on the right-hand side; a smaller two door wardrobe enclosing hanging space; and a kneehole dressing table with arched swing bevelled mirror on turned supports, over a base containing three drawers and raised on cabriole legs.
A fine quality inlaid Edwardian mahogany three door wardrobe, with flared inlaid cornice above a centre rectangular bevelled mirror panelled door by two double inlaid panelled doors opening to reveal sliding trays and drawers on the left-hand side, hanging space on the right, fitted two deep drawers in the base with brass handles, raised on a plinth base; together with a 19th Century mahogany cupboard with panelled door opening to reveal sliding trays and a drawer, raised on a plinth base (missing its top).
A Continental style dark stained and carved oak cabinet with flared cornice, moulded frieze with two decorative lion masks with brass handles, above a cupboard with coloured leaded glass panel door enclosing shelves, supported by turned columns, the base fitted a single shallow drawer with lion mask handle flanked by two decorative lion masks with brass rings, the cupboard below with heavily carved panelled door with geometric mouldings and raised on a plinth base.
A late George III mahogany long cased clock, crossbanded, the case having a broken swan neck pediment above a shaped trunk door, raised on a box base with shaped bracket feet, having a 12-inch broken arch painted dial decorated with a pastoral sporting scene over an Arabic and Roman chapter ring, set second subsiduary and date dials, with eight-day movement and deadbeat escapement, striking bell. MUSIC & THEATRE - very interesting collection of memorabilia relating to Music and the Theatre that have come from an ex musician (Eddie Palmer) performing during the 30's to 50's. To include a Stage Door ticket for the 1953 Royal Variety Performance, 5 original BBC contracts for performances during 1938, 2 original Theatre posters for Royal Bournemouth 1934 and Theatre Royal Edinburgh 1934, a 1941 Hippodrome handbill, photographs from the period to include 3 being signed (Johnnie Ray and 2 others) plus an assortment of theatre programmes and sheet music from that era. Eddie apears in a number of the photographs and is mentioned on a lot of the material.
