WILLIAM NEALE & SON; a George V hallmarked silver cased travel clock with Huddersfield Vocal Union related inscription to the base, Birmingham 1922, 6.5 x 5.5cm, and a hammered hallmarked silver carriage timepiece, maker's initials JRH, London 1906, height 7.5cm (2). CONDITION REPORT: This does not run and we are unable to post this item, the case is heavily tarnished and there are dents to the base, the movement and dial is associated to the clock and raised up on a section of wood, the door is sprung, there are two unsightly screws through the base which have been later added, this item is not suitable for a telephone bid.
An Edwardian Arts and Crafts oak three piece bedroom suite comprising mirrored and panelled door wardrobe with drawer to base, width 130cm (wardrobe cut), a three drawer dressing chest and a washstand (3). CONDITION REPORT: Wardrobe has been very crudely and poorly sawn in half with a metal bracket screwed to keep it in place. General surface wear throughout. Some staining and scratches to the dressing table. More staining to the washstand and three pieces of slightly different colour.
A George III mahogany, rosewood and satinwood crossbanded linen press, with dentil moulded cornice and inlaid twin panelled doors above two short over two long drawers set between chamfered and moulded edges, raised on bracket feet, width 128cm. CONDITION REPORT: 196.5 x 127 x 53.5cm, a few scuffs to cornice and repairs to dentil moulding, bubble veneers lifting to both doors, noticeably the left hand door, handles replaced and a couple of plug marks to drawer fronts, repairs to bracket feet and flecks of veneer throughout.
A cream painted French armoire with scrolling pediment above arched mirrored door, now enclosing a hanging rail and drawer and raised on scrolling supports, width 115cm. CONDITION REPORT: Approx 1900-1920, height of 254cm, repainted, interior now with hanging rail, central top section of canopy missing, old repairs throughout.
