A Scottish mahogany veneered longcase c1820 with a flat top and convex moulding beneath, square hood door with a circular glass dial aperture, turned wooden bezel flanked by plain pilasters and silk backed sound frets to the sides, hood on a tapered trunk with flamed mahogany veneer and applied cushion mouldings, three-quarter length trunk door with crossbanding on a square plinth raised on a deep convex moulding and four turned bun-feet, white painted 12� dial with Roman numerals, minute track and subsidiary seconds dial, with plain blued steel moon hands and seconds pointer, dial pinned via a Wilson cast iron false plate to an eight day rack striking movement with a recoil anchor escapement, striking the hours on a bell. A 17th century oak buffet of small proportion. With all over carved decoration the upper section with carved pelmet supported by turned columns, with central cupboard, the base with carved frieze and rear chamfered supports, the front raised on turned supports united by all round rectangular stretcher, L67cm x D39cm x H111cm Condition Report: Piece is a marriage. Door comes from an earlier piece, Turned columns to the top section appear to be later. Various marks, surface scratches and marks commensurate with previous use. No apparent worm or signs of damp.
An early 20th century Continental Walnut oyster veneered 18th century style cabinet on stand. The upper section with a two door cupboard with inlaid border and central oval inlay with two cross section plaques, raised on a two drawer base with bobbin supports. The top with inlaid border L83.5 x Diam39cm x H123cm Condition Report: Generally in good condition. A substantial crack to the veneer on one of the cupboard doors, multiple other smaller cracks to the veneer in other areas. Some losses to the veneer (mainly around the edges) and brackets. Would benefit from a clean. Cupboard is missing the interior trays, the interiors of the drawers are stained. Some scratches and marks consistent with age and usage. Slightly wobbly. Colours bright with no obvious areas of damp or worm.
A 19th century flame mahogany eight-day longcase clock. With arched hood and three finials, the silvered dial inscribed WILLIAM BULL Stratford with night/day apperture inscribed above and below TEMPUS/FUGIT with subsidiary second dial and calendar apperture. door L76cm, H227cm Condition Report: The door has a minor bow at the top but narrows as you descend to the bottom (roughly half the door length). Small split on the right side of the hood and a small split on the right hand side of the trunk. Two noticeable joint splits to the arch of the hood. Otherwise fair wear and tear to the base consistent with age and usage. Good patina to the carcus.
