Hayashi (Japan) - An unboxed Hayashi (Japan) Tinplate Armoured Van Savings Bank. The friction driven savings bank is in silver with tinprinted red and black trim. The closing rear door activates an alarm bell which is activated when door is opened, and is reactivated when closed. With an approximate length of approximately 24cms, the model appears to be Good overall condition with some rust spots to roof and surface scratching.

A large and impressive vintage 20th Century painted metal industrial workmans locker cabinet / storage unit of upright pedestal form. The locker having a full length door with brass knob handle and small plaque above. The door opens to reveal an adjustable shelved interior with all finished in a dark green colourway with gilt line decoration throughout. The small plaque for J.E Hanger who was an american soldier famous for pioneering work in making artificial limbs and later had factories making prosthetic limbs all over the world. His creation of the Hanger limb was first introduced in 1861 after a cannonball tore through his leg in the early battles of the American civil war. Tag inside relates to Royal Ordnance Factory 3 in 1948. A factory that was making munitions for the war effort. With original locking key. Measures approx 208cm x 61cm x 44cm.

Crack to frieze and chips to bottom edge of hood.Large vertical crack to plinth base. Some surface scratches to trunk and base. Knocks to feet. Pendulum rod rusted and slightly bent.Cannot guarantee working order.

Minor chips to edges. Door to reverse is slightly bent and doesn't close properly. The gong is rusted. No pendulum or keys. Cant guarantee the working order.
