AN UNUSUAL EARLY OAK AUMBRY CUPBOARD with boarded top above a hinged front door with gothic style cut-out window; standing on sledge feet79cm wide 28cm deep 69cm high there are worm holes throughout, and knocks and marks consistent with age, there is a crack running down the front door, doesn't seem to have any later planks, very difficult to age but certainly 18th century possibly earlier.

The handles look to be original having no extra holes to the top drawer, the small drawers are lined in blue paper. The sides could of possibly been re-veneered with plain walnut.

The lower section with fanned oval panel front and short tapering ormolu mounted legs - with double lock to the door.92cm wide 40cm deep 171cm high A very well made high quality piece, in good undamaged condition. There are no breaks or loses, it has its original polish and is dirty in places. The ormolu mounts are dirty. No damage to the marble top.
