A George III mahogany longcase clock by Robert Douglas, Liverpool, with 13in. brass moon phase dial, fitted roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, with eight day striking movement, the ornate hood with swan neck pediment above Verre Eglomise panels and two pairs of fluted pilasters either side of the glass panelled door, a single drawer to the trunk flanked by further fluted pilasters an unusual base panel flanked by simulated brick-work corners, raised on ogee bracket feet, 20 1/2in. x 86in. high.
