18th Century 30 hour oak longcase clock marked Joseph Vale of Bristol, the hood with flat top and moulded cornice above square aperture, the waist with starburst inlay to the plain moulded edge long door on a checker strung panel base. Brass dial with gilded spandrels and Roman chapter ring having date aperture. The dial 10.5" square approx. 30 hour movement, strikes on one bell with baluster pillars. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Overall the case is in fair condition, needs some attention but no obvious serious damage. The face is quite badly discoloured and will require cleaning. Includes single weight and pendulum.
