The arch top depicting a coastal scene with castle and housing a rocking-ship. The hood having a swan neck pediment with rosette terminals flanking a brass urn finial. The arched & glazed door inlaid with ornamental stringing and fronted by two slender fluted pillars. The cavetto moulded cornice above a cross-banded trunk door with shaped top inlaid with chequer stringing and an ebony & boxwood compass star, flanked by recessed fluted quarter columns. The moulded base having corresponding inlay and terminating on low bracket feet. 89 ins (226 cms) in height, 16½ ins (42 cms) wide, 9 ins (23 cms) deep.
An 18th Century Elm Longcase Thirty Hour Clock. The 11 inch (28 cm) square brass dial having an engraved centre inscribed Tho' Perkins, Evesham, with a calendar aperture and gilt brass spandrels. The hood having a cavetto moulded cornice above a reeded frieze; the glazed door flanked by columns above the long trunk door inlaid with a star motif. 78 ins (198 cms) in height. 18½ x 10¾ (47 ins x 27.5 cms)
A Rare & Important 18th Century Burr Walnut 'Act of Parliament' of Tavern Clock. The large dark-green painted dial 18 inches (46 cms) in diameter, with gilt chapter ring signed Finch, London, bordered by a scotia moulded frame with ogee brackets at each quart. The case with a cock-beaded edge, centred by a quarter veneered & cross banded door with lip moulding and measuring 44½ ins (113 cms) in height, 27 ins (56 cms) in diameter, 8 ins (20 cms) in depth.
A Late 17th/Early 18th Century Carved Giltwood Cabinet. The domed top having a cornice centred by painted twin cherub heads above an arched & glazed door framed in beading. The canted sides with protruding pilasters of large palmate scrolls surmounted by putti. The single shelved interior painted pale green. 34 ins (87 cms) in height, 43½ ins x 15 ins (110 cms x 38 cms).
