An unusual early 20th century walnut cased hotel night light dispenser, bearing plaque inscribed 'The British Automatic Supply Syndicate Ltd, 143, Queen Victoria Street, London E.C.', also bearing a plaque inscribed 'Argles Patent' and with hinged locking door (complete with key) and 1p action releasing each of the four night lights at once with a lifting brass spring loaded cap, retaining the original card instruction to the inner case and in working order, height 27cm, width 16cm.

CONDITION REPORT: The dial has been repainted but this is crazed and cracked throughout, two horizontal old repairs to veneers to the front and the brass detailing has possibly been replaced. General wear to the case. Sold with a pendulum, door key and winding key. The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently.

The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently. Dimensions of dial 16 x 11.75cm. Glass missing from rear door, elements of restoration throughout.

CONDITION REPORT: Heavy surface scratching and wear to the top of the dressing table, scratching around drawers. The silvering has deteriorated on the mirror., tarnishing to handles. The wardrobe has one heavy scratch to the left hand side. further scratch to right hand side cupboard door and one slightly right of that. Small chip to left hand side of drawer front.
