EARLY 19TH CENTURY SCHOOL "Harriet Hay, dau of William 16th Earl of Erroll, Wife of Daniel Gurney", portrait study, half length, oil on canvas, unsigned, titled upper left, 84 cm x 64 cm CONDITION REPORTS Has had restoration work. See images taken under UV for more detail. There is an area of flaking / loss where the paint work is missing to her collar bone area, as well as to one of the roses and other small sections throughout. There is a large heavy scratched area to the very top of the door. The image has clearly rubbed in its frame / slips at some point. Has possibly been put on a different stretcher previously - there are various old pinholes to the canvas. In need of a very good clean. Has heavy crazing throughout. See images for further detail.

18th Century 30 hour oak cased longcase clock by James Webster Salop (Shropshire), the case overall later foliate carved and having moulded cornice over square aperture flanked by turned pilasters, pointed arch waist door on a panelled base with bracket feet. Brass face with figural spandrels, Roman numerals and foliate engraved field. 30 hour movement strikes on one bell includes single weight and pendulum.(B.P. 21% + VAT)(B.P. 21% + VAT) Fair condition only, the hood is damaged and lacks its glass. Rather grubby overall.
19th Century Italian/French Vernis Martin ormolu mounted bow fronted display cabinet having single full depth door with two glass shelves and a solid shelf to the interior. 70 x 178cm (WxH) approx. (B.P. 21% + VAT) A little grubby with age. Minor wear in places with two minor chips to veneer on lower edges.
19th Century Irish regulator style 8 day longcase clock, having circular Roman painted face marked 'John Donegal, Dublin', with seconds dial, architectural hood above arched waist door on a panelled base. 8 day two train movement, striking on one bell. Complete with two weights and pendulum. 12" diameter circular face. (B.P. 21% + VAT) Clean and presentable, some chips, marks and discolouration to the face. Tip of wafer/locator missing. Movement is very dusty and cobwebbed. Case has a few marks in places commensurate with age and wear.

Thomas, Aberystwith (sic)', the hood with broken swan neck pediment above arched aperture flanked by double spiral moulded pilasters, the waist with shaped door and similar spirally moulded pilaster on a panel base with bracket feet. Arched painted face with rolling moon, seconds dial, Roman numerals and date aperture. 8 day two train movement, strikes on one bell. Together with two weights and pendulum. (B.P. 21% + VAT) The face appears to have been well repainted. The case overall is good.

A small chip to the inside lower edge of the right-hand door, some sun bleaching, particularly to right-hand side.

Shortman, Newnham', Roman numerals, twin fusee movement with bell strike, side ring handles above arched brass scale fret panels, on ball feet 43cm highdial probably retouched/repainted. The front glass bezel hinge is weak. Movement not tested and stops after a few minutes so probably needs attention. A few age age marks to case. Old damage noted to rear door.
