An early 19th century oak cased eight-day striking grandfather clock standing 200 cm high. The square hood has two reeded column side supports. The trunk with hinged door has two side pilasters. The square brass dial bearing an inner Roman five minute chapter ring and an outer Arabic five second interval chapter ring. The dial bears the inscription 'Jn. Day Wakefield'. The brass face has two secondary dials, the calendar movement and a second hand movement.

The slightly convex enamelled dial has gilt ground, floral hand painted spandrels with a Roman chapter ring. The hand painted moon phase has a twenty-nine day arched Arabic dial
