Muntzer (1851-1939) was a prominent interior decorator of the time and friends with the architect Sir Edwin Lutyens and the artist Sir William Nicholson. Muntzer also had a building firm in Chelsea, he built several houses in Surrey for Charles Francis Annesley Voysey and his son Thomas was Voysey's pupil.
