A Regency satinwood two door pier cabinet, the pink marble top with a moulded edge and projecting corners, the doors inset with glazed panels and pleated fabric, within harewood, boxwood and ebony stringing, flanked by fluted mahogany corner pilasters and raised on turned tapering legs, height approx 88cm, width approx 114cm. Howe Windsor Castle 1889`, the two-piece back bearing stamp `R. Howe`, length of back excluding button 33.7cm, the oak case with an applied silver plaque, engraved `H.R.H Prince Arthur of Connaught 1890`, the interior with an applied vellum panel, inscribed `This case is made from a piece of old oak taken out of the Round Tower... The upper table of the violin in this case was made from an old door of Windsor Castle... Both the case and Violin were made and presented to H.R.H Prince Arthur of Connaught upon his return from India...`, together with a silver mounted bow. Note: Prince Arthur was born the seventh child and third son of Queen Victoria. He was the Commander-in-Chief of the Bombay Army from December 1886 to March 1890.
A Dinky Supertoys No. 501 Foden 8 wheel wagon, first type cab and no towing hook, finished in red with silver door flashes and black chassis, boxed, and a No. 504 Foden 14-ton tanker, first type chassis, finished in duo blue, boxed (playwear and paint chips, tanker repainted, boxes creased, torn, scuffed, stained and re-stapled).
An enamel silver miniature carriage clock, with import marks for Stockwell & Co., London 1910, the case with powder blue enamelling within white enamelled borders, the enamel dial inscribed Tiffany & Co., with single fusee movement with repeater striking on a gong, 7.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: Cracks to enamel on dial. A number of areas of loss to enamel on case. Remnants of silver gilt, the majority is rubbed off. Inner rim of door is bent in places, so doesn't close tightly. Movement works, repeat and stike work.
A mahogany George III corner cabinet, with engraved escutcheon and arch panel door opening to reveal shaped shelves, 109.5cm Previous repairs are evident to the panel door and more are required, the top of the cabinet is present but in need of reconstruction and mouldings need to be secured, the return mouldings at the base are absent.
