White, Glasgow'The 10 inch dial marked in degrees, with brass and blacked metal gimbal, contained within mahogany and brass pillar case, the helmet shaped removable top with oval glass viewing aperture to the front flanked by two illuminating lanterns and with hinged door to the rear, the pillar case fitted with two blackened metal compensation brackets and a circular brass chart holder to one side, on rounded rectangular stepped base, surmounted by four blackened metal ball finals, 61cm wide, 61cm deep, 350cm high (24in wide, 24in deep, 138in high) Footnotes:By Family repute this binnacle came from one of the ships from the Loch Tay Steam Boat Company. The Earl of Breadalbane created the Loch Tay Steam Boat Company which sailed between Killin and Kenmore via Ardeonaig, Lawers, Ardtalnaig and Fearnan in 1882. Paper label to interior of drawers The Hague Collection 62cm wide x 172cm high condition report: The base has come from a deceased estate and is being sold as seen. The mirror plates appear original but we are unable to confirm this. It may well have been restored at the sometime in its life, repairs to stretcher. piece of moulding missing from one cupboard door. Small splits to sides etc

19th century mahogany marble top sideboard, the mirrored back with brass fretwork over open center flanked by two mirrored door cupboards on plinth base 170cm Condition report:various chips to the veneers and the moldings are missing round the marble top. Some chips to edge of marble. The mirrors need to be re-silvered, a large piece of veneer is missing off the plinth.

A 19th century Louis XV style serpentine font walnut credenza with extensive ormolu mounts and marquetry inlay, having two glazed side cupboards and central door with oval ebonised panel inset with floral with floral marquetry inlay, on plinth base, width 72" Overall pretty good! Some small veneer losses. Doors need re-pinning at base, plinth base right hand side needs refixing, all metal work present and in good condition. Top is good with no veneer raises, but split left hand side approx 25cm.

A 19thC oak country longcase clock, the shaped cornice surmounted by a brass orb and eagle finial flanked by two further brass finials above an arched trunk door, on stylised bracket feet, with painted 29cm diameter, Roman numeric and Arabic dial with floral spandrels, thirty hour movement with pendulum and weight, 207cm high.
