A 19th century rosewood side cabinet, with boxwood stringing, the central section having a frieze drawer above a door with a grill panel, flanked by concave sided shelves, 129 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by GH From a London client's residence in Park Lane and Grosvenor Square. Very faint bowing to the top. Has undergone lots of restoration. The fabric behind the door has been replaced, the gilding has been freshened, and the finish has had work. The handles on the frieze drawer appear to be original and are in good condition. Structurally in good condition, with some old scratches and nicks commensurate with age. Overall presents well in good restored condition with no obvious major defects.
A late Victorian/Edwardian collector's cabinet. having twelve drawers, enclosed by a glazed door, with a Watkins & Doncaster Cabinet Manufacturers & Naturalists ivorine plaque, 52 cm wide See illustration Condition report Report by RB The top has been refinished at some point, not professionally, and now has numerous scratches to it. The door front is mahogany, unlike the rest of it, which is stained to look like mahogany, has the ivorine plaque to it, all the drawers have a glass lift out top to them, with homemade dividers to some of them. No key. The plinth base has general wear commensurate with age and attack by vacuum cleaners.

An early 19th Century Welsh mahogany cased eight day striking long case clock by J Hughes & Co of Carnavon The painted arched dial with moving swan to the open arch, above painted subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, and twin winding holes, between hand painted maidens with dogs, the hood with arched pediment and twin spiral fluted pilasters above the generously proportioned trunk featuring a domed panelled half length door flanked by twin spiral fluted pilasters, above the base panel decorated with twin feathered domed panels flanked by canted corners, raised on short ogee feet, complete with pendulum and two weights, height approx 232cm, width approx 67cm.
A 17th Century and later carved oak Court cupboard The rectangular plank moulded top above a frieze carved with scrolling leaves raised on leaf carved vase shape supports with a central cupboard door inlaid with flowers and scrolling leaves ,over a single frieze drawer carved with a geometric scrolling design flanked by two substantial leaf carved bulbous supports and a plain pot board, 134x125x50cms.

A late Georgian oak cased eight day striking long case clock by Charles Stephenson of Congleton The painted arched dial with moonphase automaton to the arch, above painted subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture and twin winding holes, the force bandles hand painted with rustic towers, the hood with moulded and swept arch flanked by plain pilasters, above full length door with inverse top corners, the plain base terminating on a plinth (split to front), together with twin weights, pendulum and winding key, total height approx 212cm. NB: According to the vendor the movement was serviced in the last six months.
A rare and unusual late 19th early 20th Century mahogany gentleman's wash stand With a sliding and tilting shaving mirror above a white marble top and a plain beaded frieze, supported on two tapering ring turned and channeled supports over a second white marble slab , two cockbeaded drawers and a hinged cupboard door with a brass knob handle, raised on four vase shaped supports and brass castors, lacking one brass castor. 45x111cms with the mirror down x 37cms.
