Elizabeth Boot of King Street, Sutton In Ashfield was the sister of John Boot (1730-1780) apprentice to her father, became full clock maker in 1792, married Richard Foxton, she made a very limited number of 30 hour clocks, see Mather, H H Clock and Watch Makers of Nottinghamshire (Nottingham 1979)
