Text quires and most of the plates loosening along lower half, 1st plate w. repaired tears on center fold and in the image, 5th plate w. re-attached lower right corner (sl. affecting the image), plate 22 lacks a portion of lower blank margin (paper flaw?), occas. marg. tears or soiling, final plate a bit creased, binding worn/ dam. Four manuscript maps, all w. sheet size of ca 70 x 100 cm, dated 1892, numbered "Nr. 1" to "Nr. 4", all stamped "K 73" in lower right corner and all with ticket "Maatschappij tot Exploitatie van Staatsspoorwegen. Brug over den IJssel bij Westervoort" and "Archief No. 3.1" to "3.4 " verso. All folded, w. margins strengthened and/ or tears closed w. tape. The first map lacks a portion of upper left corner. All with manuscript "Vergeleken met het kadastrale plan de ambtenaar voor de boekhouding" [signed) and "Afgegeeven door mij Bewaarder van de hypotheken en het kadaster te Arnhem den 7/ 9 Mei 1892" (signed). Chinese buffet. Qing dynasty, 19th century.Teak wood.Metal fittings and handles.Signed on the back of the drawers.Wear and tear.Measurements: 78 x 80 x 51 cm.Buffet in light wood. The double front door has a metal lock with espagnolette. It is preceded by two drawers of the same size, arranged in symmetry. The structure, subjected to a rigorous orthogonal order, presents as an organicist counterpoint small carved elements decorating the four corners.

A Masonic silver pendant given to Brother Szulczewski of the Polish National Lodge, No. 778 (later 534), marks for London 1847 and makers mark W.E, 7.5cm wide, a small 19th Century masonic glass for the Alfred Lodge, Oxford No. 649 (later 340), 7cm high, and further masonic items to include a firing glass for the Isis Lodge no 4242, a door knocker, pair of cufflinks, etc.The Polish National Lodge was consecrated on 17th June 1847 by Polish Nationals fleeing persecution in their homeland, Brother Szulczewski is listed among the first officers of the lodge as Junior WardenSlight wear to the silver medal, small chips around the base of the Oxford Lodge glass, other items in reasonable condition.
