Door slightly bowed and as a result the lock does not hold the doors closed. Knocks, scratches and wear commensurate with age and use.

Edwardian satinwood and rosewood strung display cabinet by Hampton & Sons, the broken swan-neck pediment above a pair of glazed doors and sides, enclosing two shelves, bearing two ivorine labels inscribed 'Hampton & Sons, Pall Mall East, London', over a further pair of doors and raised on tapering square supports terminating in spade feet,150cm wide, 44cm deep, 196cm highCondition report: Split to right-hand cupboard door. Smaller splits, chips, losses and repair to veneer throughout. Areas of loss, repair and replacement to moulding throughout. Both lower door hinges have been replaced, each with a piece of new timber to accommodate this. Joints solid and sturdy. General wear commensurate with age and use. Nice quality as indicated by the glazed sides and well-chosen timber. Two keys present, lower one appears associated. Locks functional.
