A large Victorian oak bookcase, c.1870, the pediment with turned finials and lion masks over the glazed upper section, with four glazed doors separated by relief carved pilasters over cupboards beneath, on a plinth base,260cm wide50cm deep280cm highCondition report: Shelves of various dates and with various mouldings. Splits to two of the door panels, one with a butterfly tied repair. Some carved elements appear to be later additions. The carved shields and finials possibly later. Pilasters do not match up with lion mask carvings, possibly due to alteration or embellishment. Watermarks to top. Sides free from splits. Sliding doors do not operate as they should, appear to fowl on cornice.

An upturned boat used as a house provided the inspiration for Peggoty's house. A print of this image entitled 'Peggoty's House' was recorded in Norwich Museum.Condition report: Not framed. Pen and ink on cardboard. The cardboard is discoloured and there is a dark vertical streak in the discolouration to the left of the keel. A dark spot of dirt on the door, which could be black ink. Some light scattered foxing. A tiny raised bump above the boat, corresponding with a large scratch in the cardboard verso.Two tiny pale flecks close to left edge, possibly from water flecks. Very light scratch lower centre. The mount frame has been stuck directly onto the cardboard, and it is not framed

An Edwardian inlaid satinwood display cabinet:, the dentil moulded cornice above crossbanded frieze over central shaped bar glazed door flanked by bow glazed panels to either side, above two short drawers with quarter veneered panels to either side, raised on tapering legs terminating on spade toes, 128cm. wide, 182.5cm. high.
