dating: late 17th Century provenance: Italy, Wooden structure, completely covered with iron plaques outside and reinforced with crossed bands, in iron as well, held by numerous rivets with semi-spherical head. Partially reinforced with iron foils inside as well, painted in red. The fully recessed lockable door, and provided with two keys. Both patches are hidden by fine iron plaques, to be revealed it is necessary to move in sequence a series of studs that unlock. The safe is complete with two keys. The lock is functioning. dimensions 83 x 112 x 54 cm.

VICKERY AN EDWARDIAN IVORY CASED DESK TIMEPIECE, with silver handle and hinge, dated London 1909, having swing handle and raised upon bun feet, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, the dial inscribed "J.C. Vickery, to their Majesties", 17 9, 181, 183 "Regent Street, W", overall size of case 10.5cm high Condition report: cracks to ivory case on front panel extending on to the top, & on left side by hinge to back door. One on base also. Silver handled tarnished to black as is catch, movement seized, dial ok.

Columns to frot with brass ormolu applied motifs to columns and pediment top. Doors opening to reveal a fitted shelved interior. Raised on turned legs. Titles are Houses Of The Holy (K 50014 A2/B2 - VG+/Ex with printed inner and scarcely seen 'sash' in VG+ condition), Physical Graffiti (SSK 89400, original UK pressing with Kings Road address, matrix A1/B4/C1/D1, no Warner logos - very clean Ex and Ex+ condition records/with inners/Ex a little edgewear), 'I' (2 x Spanish HAT 421-40 including stock black vinyl and purple vinyl pressings), Remasters (7567-80415-1 BD), In Through The Out Door (SSK 59410, UK sleeve design 'D' with original brown bag, still with shrink), Presence (SSK 59402, with lesser seen stickered sleeve), 'IV' (50 008 barcode RE) and The Song Remains The Same (SSK 89402). Condition is often very nice and clean VG+ to Ex+ or 'NM'.
