A 19th Century Vitrine in the Louis XV Style. The diagonally grained kingwood veneers inlaid with shaped bands of marquetry foliage. The cabinet door having a serpentine glazed front above a bombe shaped Vernis Martin panel painted with a romantic scene and edged in scrolling gilt metal beading. The shaped top surmounted by a Rococo crest with decorative gilt bronze mounts to the pilasters and heading the square cabriole legs. The interior fitted with glass display shelves, 40 ins (102 cms) in width, 75 ins(190 cms) in height.

A Marquetry Longcase Clock (A/F) The 11 inch (28 cms) brass dial having a silvered chapter ring signed Edw. Stanton London with winged cherub head spandrels to the corners and ring turned winding holes to the matted centre. The hood having a flat moulded top above a pierced brass frieze of scrolling foliage enhanced with engraving, and integral barleytwist columns flanking the dial. The long trunk door and base panel intricately marquetried with birds perched amongst flowering foliage cascading from urns enhanced with penwork and contrasted against a dark background, with round edge moulding to the door and oval lenticle, 82½ ins (210 cms) in height.

The 6½ inch (16.5 cm) brass dial having a painted rocking boat in the arch above a silvered chapter ring encompassing an engraved centre of scrolling foliage and mounted with decorative face mask spandrels to the corners. The hood's moulded swan-neck pediment carved with rose blooms to the terminals and having turned finials either side above scrolling blind fret-carving with fluted side columns flanking the dial. The trunk having a band of blind fretwork above a long narrow lipmoulded door with shaped top, flanked by recessed fluted quarter columns above carved brick-work corner detailing, leading down to the moulded base with canted corners and ogee bracket feet.
