18TH CENTURY BRASS FACED LONG CASE CLOCK by John Evans of Lampeter, the plain pine case now stripped, arch moulded door and panelled base. Brass face with Roman numerals and seconds dial with date aperture, the field engraved with sailing ships at sea and having pierced brass spandrels. Eight day, two train movement, striking on one bell. The face 28cm square approx. 190.5cm high. CONDITION REPORT: Case is poor having much old worming and has been viciously stripped, face lacks silvering to the chapter ring, otherwise appearing complete.

CONDITION REPORT: Overall basically clean condition, some minor wear and tear.

LATE 18TH CENTURY 8 DAY LONG CASE CLOCK in overall chinoiserie lacquered and painted case, having arched brass face with Roman numerals and date aperture, painted arched door on panelled base with later plinth, 8 day two train movement striking on one bell. The unnamed face 40.5 x 30cm, overall 246.5cm including finial. CONDITION REPORT: Evidence of fire damage, some minor losses to the case. Plinth base is a replacement, minor losses to mouldings to the case in places, the glass is cracked.
