A Victorian figured walnut tall boy/chest of drawers, the quarter veneered top with rounded front corners over two short and two long drawers, and a pair of panelled doors opening to two small sliding trays, upon a plinth base, 118cm H x 76cm W x 54cm DCondition reportLater reconstructed, some fading and light abrasions to the top, with a minor 20cm split to the left hand side, further fading and wear commensurate with age and use.Drawers have been later reconstructed and subsequently run smoothly, 13cm repair around the top right hand hinge, although there is no excessive play in either door.

An Arts & Crafts Gothic Revival ash inlaid wardrobe, attributed to Charles Bevan, possibly designed for Marsh, Jones & Cribb, Leeds, the ecclesiastical cornice above a central mirrored door flanked by two geometrically inlaid doors, all enclosing a fitted interior with linen press slides and drawers, raised on plinth base, 231cm H x 180cm W x 55cm D, along with a conforming bedside cabinet and washstand, extensively at fault (3) (at fault)Condition reportApprox. eight trefoil details missing from the cornice, one detached, beading missing from the top of the right and left hand sides below the cornice causing the cornice to tilt.Slight concave bow to both wardrobe doors, door also lacking a lock.Minor split to the back boards, dry and faded patina to the LHS of the wardrobe with some joint splints to the plinth base.General evidence of damp throughout although no visible evidence of woodworm.The bedroom suite was removed from a counties border farmhouse property in an untouched condition.The pot cupboard has a dull faded patina with damp damage to the plinth, very minor evidence of woodworm to the gallery.The washstand is in barn find condition and incomplete.The wardrobe has detachable cornice and plinth, the single wardrobe measures 186cm H x 54cm Sqmirrored door 186cm x 65cmDouble section in two parts, the upper tray section 117cm x 120cm x 52cm, the lower drawer section 69cm x 120cm x 52cm.Pot cupboard 79cm H x 39cm W x 37cm Dwashstand 74cm H x 118cm W x 59cm D

A GEORGE III MAHOGANY KNEEHOLE DESK IN THE MANNER OF THOMAS CHIPPENDALE, CIRCA 1780 82cm high, 103cm wide, 58cm deep Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old splits and chips. Leather surface to the interior slide of the upper drawer is likely and old replacement. I has the expected wear and marks. Some old repairs to mouldings. Handles are likely Edwardian replacements but suit the piece well. A key present but only operated the lock to the door. Some old veneer repairs, including a larger repair to the area around the escutcheon of the upper drawer. Strip of later tape across backboards. Later supporting blocks to the backs of feet and underside of chest.Colour variation to the surface and patina with some fading in areas (particularly to the top). There are areas that have a more cleaned/polished look, while in other areas the polish appears to have 'bloomed' and these have a dryer/rougher appearance. It appears to be the original surface.
