Artworks of Mierzejewski in this auction were directly obtained from the artistMIERZEJEWSKI, JERZY (1917-2012), ges. l.o. en gedat. 1982 'Park II', doek 60 x 80 cm Mierzejewski is geboren in Polen, Warschau, als zoon van de schilder Jacek Mierzejewski. Hij studeerde voor de tweede wereld oorlog aan de Kunstacademie van Warschau. Parallel aan het schilderen begon hij in 1951 als professor aan de Poolse filmacademie.
