A 19th Century mahogany linen press with two cupboard doors over two banks of three drawers CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches, scuffs and some gouges to the wood. Discoloration and fading in areas mainly to the front and to the sides. Some splits to the veneer, areas of loss to the veneer mainly to the doors. A couple of areas of banding appear to have been replaced on the oval on the right hand door. Slight warping and raising of the veneers in areas. Two of the drawers have no lock mechanism. There is also no lock part on the left hand door. Areas of the varnish on one of the drawers is slightly blistered with some small areas of loss. Wear and tear commensurate with age and use. A late Victorian walnut triple wardrobe compactum with central mirrored door CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches and there are scuffs and knocks to the wood. Areas of loss to the veneer and also cracks to the veneer mainly around the edge of the doors and to the corners of the base. There is a split to the veneer to the right hand side of the cornice. Accretions and some, what appear to be, white flecks of paint in areas. The mirrored central door has an area of repair on the left hand side where the beading has been glued back in place. There is also evidence of glue in this area. Fading and discolouration to the front and both sides. Item has general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for more details. A 19th Century Lancashire oak court cupboard or duodarn (probably Lake District), the moulded cornice above a plain frieze and turned and ringed drops, the upper section with two arched fielded panels flanked by similarly decorated cupboard doors on a base of three drawers over two fielded panel cupboard doors enclosing a shelf, raised on stile supports, 146 cm wide x 180.5 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Numerous surface scratches, scuffs and knocks to the wood, some fading and discoloration in areas and areas of staining. The lock mechanism on one of the cupboard doors on the top section has been replaced. Hinges are loose on both cupboard doors. Evidence of old worm on the inside of both doors. Evidence of old worm and areas of loss to the base of the top section on the inside. Areas of loss to the drawers on the bottom section of the cupboard. Evidence of old worm. Possible repair work on the drawers. Handles have been replaced. Some split and old repairs to the left hand cupboard door also to sections of the right hand cupboard door. Evidence of old worm to the inside of both of the cupboard doors on the base and areas of loss to the wood. Areas of loss and old worm to the legs. One of the side panels has come loose and is pushed inwards. Possible replacement panels to the back. Evidence of old worm on the panels to the back as well. George III oak linen press with secret drawer Repaired cornice with losses and discolouration. Upper section faded to the left hand side. Left hand lower door panel cracked. A few scuffs and scratches. Lower section with handled replaced. Apron with a few scuffs and chips. Front left foot repaired. Cracks forming to both sides and with several ring marks top of lower section.

A 19th century coin operated penny-in-the-slot walnut polyphon, by Nicole Freres, Leipzig, the vertical mechanism playing 49cm discs, arched glazed door flanked by turned pilasters, 97cm high, 70cm wide, c.1890 Condition Report: Yes it is in working order including the penny slot. There are two combs. From the sound of it there are a few teeth missing, there in 21 discs with it. Please see additional photographs attached thank you.

A 19th century walnut coin operated penny-in-the-slot floor standing polyphon, the vertical mechanism playing 50cm discs, lofty cresting above an arched glazed door flanked by turned pillars, the base with a pair of rectangular panel cupboard doors, bun feet, 197cm high, retailed by Joseph Riley & Sons, Birmingham, complete with ten discs, c. 1890 Condition Report: Hi this lot is in good condition and in good working order including the penny slot, it is a double comb and from the sounds of I think there's could be a few teeth missing. A 19th century Welsh crossbanded mahogany longcase clock, the 35cm circular painted dial inscribed Xavier Ganz, Swansea, Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial, twin winding holes, 8 day movement striking on a bell, the broad case with arched cresting, shaped door to waist flanked by spirally turned pillars, bracket feet, 215cm high, c.1865 Condition Report: Please see attached images. The movement looks clean and no reasons to suggest it wouldn't be in working condition when set up. A few losses and replacements to veneers. Later hood case finial. Some stable splits.

A George I Derbyshire oak longcase clock, 25.5cm square brass dial inscribed Wolley (sic) Codnor, Roman numerals, masks and leafy scrolls to spandrels, date aperture, single hand, 30 hour movement striking on a bell, the hood with outswept cornice and turned Doric columns, long rectangular door to waist with bulls-eye lenticle, bracket feet, 203cm high, c1725James Woolley was born at Breach Farm Codnor, Derbyshire in 1695 and was apprenticed 1709-1716 to John Wyld the elder of Nottingham (who later became his brother-in-law) and thereafter made clocks of increasingly high quality at Codnor (where he also farmed) until his death aged 89 in 1785. The business was continued for another generation by the sons of his brother Samuel, John and Samuel Woolley. Condition Report: Hello, this lot is in good condition, the movement is fixed on to the seat board with pins. The shape in the seatboard is oval, the back runs to the top of the widest part of the base please see attached images thank you.
A George III century oak longcase clock, 28.5cm square brass dial inscribed Plimer, Wellington, silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals, the spandrels allegorical of the four seasons, subsidiary seconds dial, date aperture, eight day movement striking on a bell, the hood with broken-arch pediment and brass finials, rectangular door to waist, plinth base, 215cm high, c.1770
A George III mahogany and brass mahogany bracket clock, 20cm circular dial inscribed Edward Elliott, London, 4016, Roman numerals, 8-day double-fusee movement striking on a bell, the case surmounted by a brass pineapple finial, pyramidical top, inlaid brass spandrels and twin lion mask and ring handles, pierced grills to sides, glazed door to verso, ball feet, 47.5cm high, c. 1810 Edward Elliott was of the third generation of a distinguished line of London clockmakers. His grandfather was the eminent John Ellicott, FRS (1706-1772), who was succeeded by Edward's father also Edward who died in 1791. Thereafter Edward, junior signed Edward Elliott as here until taking a partner (as Elliott & Taylor) in 1811. He was free of the Clockmakers' Company in 1795 and later served as master, dying in 1835. Condition Report: One side fret loose, o/w generally good condition
A late George III mahogany break-centre library bookcase, of large proportions, moulded outswept cornice above four astragal glazed doors, the bars arranged in a lozenge formation, the slightly protruding base with four further doors enclosing an arrangement of adjustable shelves, each outlined with geometric ebony stringing, plinth base, 257cm high, 312cm wide, c.1820 Condition Report: Generally good condition with some scuffs and scratches on the mahogany surface. There's splits on the frames that holds the bookcase to the base and sign of restoration on the bookcase door. Please see attached images for examples. The depth is 45cm.
A George IV oak and mahogany longcase clock, 30cm square enamel dial inscribed John & Edward Mason, Worcester, the dial painted with flowers in a Delft vase, roses to spandrels, Roman numerals, date aperture, 30 hour movement striking on a bell, the case with swan neck pediment, brass capped reeded columns and quarter columns, rectangular door to waist, pendulum, 199cm high, c1830John and Edward Mason were trading in Worcester from 1828 to 1850.
