An attractive,19th century, hand-carved oak and brass coal scuttle, the opening door heavily carved with a floral and foliage posy with a brass handle/knob and fittings opening to coal compartment. The sides carved with garlands and floral sprigs and motifs with a solid, long, finialled brass handle fixed to the top of the scuttle for easy transportation. Dimensions: 38.5 x 35.5 x 50 cm.
