An early 19th century Welsh mahogany sideboard, in the manner of David Morley, Carmarthen, of inverted breakfront form, the central frieze drawer over a further hidden drawer behind a shaped recess, flanked by a cellarette drawer and a cupboard door applied with later hardwood drawer pulls, punctuated with wrythen pilasters, outlined with ebony stringing, upon six reeded and tapering legs extending to ball feet, 92cm H x 147cm W x 56cm D (at fault)Condition reportHistoric split running full width of the sideboard top, along with further minor scratches and marks.Small split to the cellarette drawer liner and split to the RH side panel.Further general light marks, splits and scuffs commensurate with age and use. Although sideboard appears to be strcturally sound with little or no play in the joints.
