Amsterdam, Reinier en Iosua Ottens 1745. Mit Frontispiz, Titelvignette, reich verziertem Widmungsblatt und 32 doppelblattgroßen bzw. mehrfach gefalteten Karten, alles altkolorierte Kupferstiche. Halblederband der Zeit.Die erste niederländische und insgesamt dritte Ausgabe dieses bedeutenden Seeatlas, der 1715 und 1739 in französischer Sprache erschienen war. - Die detailreichen Karten, von Ottens revidiert und mit dessen Adresse in den Kartuschen. - Am Anfang des Kartenteils drei Hemispheren und eine mehrfach gefaltete Weltkarte mit der fast korrekten Küste Westaustraliens, ferner eine prachtvolle Faltkarte von Europa und seinen Küsten und Küstenlinienkarten vom Nordmeer, Nord-, Süd- und Mittelamerika, Afrika und anderem mehr. - Alle Karten mit Grenz- und leichtem Flächenkolorit.
