A George III oak longcase clock, the arched pediment above brass dial set with silvered chapter ring inscribed "WM.Kent, Saffron Walden", with subsidiary seconds hand, date aperture and moon phase, eight day movement, long arch door and stepped plinth base, height 231cm, lower plinth repaired. CONDITION REPORT: The dial and movement has been overhauled, cleaned and polished, as have the brass finials. The case has been re-polished. As mentioned in the description, there is an additional stepped section to the lower portion of the plinth. Weight and pendulum present. Sadly, the brass plate is broken but present.Top arched section of brass is broken off above the chapter ring.
A Regency mahogany and brass inlaid bracket clock, the arched case above painted dial inscribed "Alexd Purvis, North Audley St. London", housing an eight day single fusee movement raised on brass paw feet, height 34.75cm. CONDITION REPORT: The dial has been repainted but this is crazed and cracked throughout, two horizontal old repairs to veneers to the front and the brass detailing has possibly been replaced. General wear to the case. Sold with a pendulum, door key and winding key. The clock has come from a collection where the gentleman has had them running up until recently.

DAVID COMPIGNE OF WINTON; A George III oak longcase clock, the brass square dial set with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, inscribed "Compigne Winton", flanked by two ring turned pilasters above single door with circular glazed aperture, on pedestal base with ogee bracket feet, height 201cm. CONDITION REPORT: Dial size is 10.25 inches. There is a David Compigne clock maker listed as operating in Winchester in 1718. Nothing more is known about this clock maker. Dial and movement are associated to the case. The lower half of the plinth is replaced. There are some old repairs.
An 18th century oak and crossbanded longcase clock, the moulded caddy top above 11" square dial set with silvered chapter ring inscribed "Sam LL Whalley Manchester" with thirty hour movement, arched door and plinth base, reduced, height 204cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement and dial is associated to the case, extensive damage to the case, repainted sections, repainted frieze, repainted upper and lower sections to the columns, veneer and crossbanding missing. A restoration project.

An 18th century French oak longcase clock, the hinged door with carved panels of floral swags and baskets flanked by fluted pilasters, the silvered circular chapter ring set with Roman numerals and a circular plaque engraved "J. Lanoy Montigny sur Sambre 1745" (for restoration). CONDITION REPORT: There is a clock maker of the name "La Noy" known to be operating in Paris in 1772.Does not have pendulum and weights

DAVID COLLIER OF GATLEY; a late 18th century oak cased eight day longcase clock, the hood with broken swan neck pediment and brass finials above square brass dial with silvered chapter ring set with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and with date aperture, inscribed with maker's name, flanked by two turned columns above arched door and pedestal base, height 215cm. CONDITION REPORT: Dial size is 12 inches. Case has been restored and polished. Dial and movement have been polished and cleaned.
An unusual asymmetrical George III mahogany corner sideboard, the serpentine front with three shaped drawers above a pedestal with shaped hinged door enclosing drawers to one side, the hinged door on the other enclosing a lead lined bottle drawer and pot section above shaped and pierced bracket feet, width 195cm.

A George III mahogany secretaire bookcase, with swan neck pediment with inlaid urn finial and frieze, fitted writing drawer, brass ring handles and cupboards below, on bracket feet, 253cm high x 127cm wide x 52cm deep v small leaf moulding loos to the carving on the cornice, slight warp in the closing door and two sections of moulding loss and a very small corner moulding loss to the secretaire drawer. No apparent worm damage. The handles appear to be the original. Very close to 1800 in date
