An unusual late 19th century bijouterie cabinet: rosewood and boxwood-strung and of pitched roof design; the central turned wood and brass handle flanked by two angular glazed doors with boxwood spandrels above shaped friezes and four splaying square tapering boxwood-strung legs united by a conforming undertier, the legs terminating in slender spade feed (81cm high including handle x 43cm widest x 29cm deepest)Condition Report: The condition is reasonable. There are a couple of minor pieces of veneer away from the frieze, the two door open as they should (hinges all original etc.), there is there some staining to the interior upholstery, mostly around the edges. There are a couple of wooden strengthening bars underneath the platform stretcher. The platform stretcher has four boxwood patera and is also boxwood strung to the legs which terminate in spade feet. Overall: in reasonable condition and would benefit for a good wax clean and condition commensurate with age and usage.

The case looks to be complete, but is dirty. Has pendulum and key.
An 18th century and later oak dresser base, containing three short drawers, over panelled doors172w x 48d x 85h cmCondition report: Overall is complete and usable. Drawers and doors open ok and we have a key for the panelled door. The top looks later, although not new, as are the handles. The doors have split panels, but overall it looks otherwise original. Unrestored so dirty and with various marks and wear from use/age. Some old signs of woodworm in the linings and the drawers are quite heavily stained inside.
