Dismantles into 5 pieces for ease of movement. Warings label to interior. Matching Chest of Drawers and wardrobe on lots 1456 and 1457.Measures 214cms high x 214cms wide x 62cms deep.
A modern burr walnut grandmother clock having a brass dial with silver chapter ring, figural spandrels, matted centre ad rolling moon phase to the arch. Powered by a three weight movement striking on rods being housed in an arch top case with brass finials scroll pierced frieze and frets with gilt mounted, ebonised fore columns. All over a long trunk door and raised on a mahogany plinth base. Measures: 190cms high x 48cms wide x 28cms deep.
A 19th century French brass repeater carriage clock, the rectangular enamelled dial set with circular chapter ring, Roman numerals and with subsidiary dial, inscribed "Les Roy & Fils Pals. Royal GTE. Montpensier 13-15 Paris, 296 Regent Street London", height 12.5cm. CONDITION REPORT: Has original escapement. Strikes as a bell. We cannot guarantee it is in working order. Number 784. Door is loose as upper pin is missing. Balance cock moving freely. Scratch to dial around 10 o'clock approx 6mm. General wear to case. A 19th century French mantel clock of shaped form with black lacquer and floral decoration and gilded wood trimming with shaped hinged door (missing glass), the circular white enamel dial set with Roman numerals and Arabic numeral minutes and inscribed "Paillard a'Besançon", the brass movement engraved "Paliard Besançon", raised on four scrolling feet, height 62cm.

DAVID COMPIGNE OF WINTON; A George III oak longcase clock, the brass square dial set with silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals, inscribed "Compigne Winton", flanked by two ring turned pilasters above single door with circular glazed aperture, on pedestal base with ogee bracket feet, height 201cm. CONDITION REPORT: Dial size is 10.25 inches. There is a David Compigne clock maker listed as operating in Winchester in 1718. Nothing more is known about this clock maker. Dial and movement are associated to the case. The lower half of the plinth is replaced. There are some old repairs.

Lanoy Montigny sur Sambre 1745" (for restoration). CONDITION REPORT: There is a clock maker of the name "La Noy" known to be operating in Paris in 1772.
