Rhymney Railway 12in oak cased English fusee railway clock. The case with convex surround, 2 side doors and a bottom door secured with a lock, has PENRHIWFELIN pencilled inside twice and the GWR ivorine plate 2564 screwed to the left hand side. The dial, in original condition, is lettered GWR and clearly visible is R.R. Co 130. The brass chain driven fusee movement with large A shaped plates has been cleaned. A lovely example of a Welsh pre grouping clock complete with pendulum and key. Penrhiwfelin Station was on a branch on the Rhymney Railway from Ystrad Mynach.

Barry Railway 12in oak cased English fusee railway clock. The case with convex and concave surround, 2 side doors and a bottom door secured by a lock, has the GWR ivorine plate 2172 screwed onto the right hand side. The dial in restored condition is lettered BARRY& SON CARDIFF BARRY COY. The brass chain driven fusee movement has large A shaped plates and is in cleaned condition. A nice pre grouping Welsh clock complete with pendulum and key.
Great Western Railway 12in mahogany cased English fusee drop dial trunk railway clock. The case, with convex surround and a spun brass bezel, has 2 side doors and a bottom door secured with a lock. The GWR ivorine numberplate 3373 is screwed on the left hand side of the case. The original dial has been lightly restored. The brass chain driven fusee movement has been cleaned and recently serviced. In working condition complete with pendulum and key, a nice example of these popular clocks.
Midland Railway 12in oak cased drop dial English fusee railway clock by John Hummel of Derby circa 1850. The case with a convex and concave surround, 2 side doors and a bottom door secured with a lock, has the LMS numberplate 12181 fixed onto the drop. The original dial has been restored as per the original writing and evidence of the A-M telegraphic letters are still visible as ghosted letters. The brass fusee movement has rectangular plates with shaped shoulders. No record survives for this clock however clock numbers 12180 and 12182 are recorded as being at the Signals and Telegraph Department Leicester so this clock was probably also used there. Complete with pendulum and key and original Dr D.R. Parr sheet detailing its restoration and provenance.
South Eastern Railway 14in mahogany cased English fusee railway clock probably supplied by John Carter of Cornhill London circa 1842.The case with a convex surround, one side door and a bottom door secured by a brass turn, has the SER numberplate 208 screwed to the side door. The back of the box is branded SER and stamped 208 SE. The dial is in restored condition and is lettered BR(S) JOHN WALKER 1 SOUTH MOLTON ST LONDON 208 SE. The brass chain driven movement has rectangular plates which are stamped with the SER cartouche. The Southern Railway clock records show that this clock as being in use at The Booking Hall Marden Station. Complete with pendulum and key and original Dr D.R. Parr sheet detailing his restoration and provenance.

A circa 1750 oak and inlaid oak cased long case clock, the eight day movement with brass arch dial and sun and moon phase, the silvered plaque inscribed "John Clayton + Marple", the silvered chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals enclosing a subsidiairy seconds dial and date aperture with pierced brass spandrels, approx. 50 cm wide x 235 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Nothing sold in working order, we are not clock specialists. Various chips and scratches, scuffs and losses to the body to include the top of the hood. Some splits to the veneers to the banding, damage to the decoration to the arch and will need refurbishment. Splits to the door, loss of glass round the back of the hood - see images. Veneer is lifting and cracked in places. Various general signs of wear and tear, damage to the paintwork to moon phase. A Victorian Scottish mahogany extending 'D' end dining table and leaf cabinet, the dining table with five leaves and moulded edge above the applied moulded decoration and egg and dart band, raised on four heavy carved acanthus leaf, egg and dart and fluted legs to white china castors, the leaf cabinet with applied moulded decoration of fruits on vine with birds to the back, above two drawers above an applied moulded shield-shaped crest and side doors opening to reveal the leaves, on a plinth base, max table length approx 487 cm, table width approx 147.5 cm CONDITION REPORTS Solid wood, some splits to the top. Some attention needed to the leaves, not quite fitting properly (see images for damage). Leaves are a darker colour than the rest of the table. Various scratches, scuffs, marks, impressed marks etc throughout. No space is evident for missing legs. Some chips around the pegs holding the leaves together. Legs with various knocks, scratches and scuffs. The leaf cabinet - moulding to the very top has been broken off and glued back. Wings to the birds are missing. Various knocks, nibbles, scratches, scuffs etc throughout. The right hand door has been broken. One runner from inside is missing. All over various general signs of wear and tear through age and use throughout on all items
