1936 Morris 8 Series 1. This car – registration number YWG 887 - was first registered on 23rd March 1936.It is the 4 door saloon model in Blue/Black with a Pytchley sliding roof, and many original features. Purchased on 6th September 2017 from The Motor Shed, Bicester for £10,250, it has been registered with the Pre 1940 Morris Register since September 2017. The car was previously used as a wedding car by Morris Classic Motors based in Wiltshire (no longer trading). There is evidence that it was displayed at the Scottish Association of Vehicle Enthusiasts 2005 meeting at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston. A full service was carried out by Rees Bros of Aldershot in December 2017 (invoice available). The rear brake shoes were rebonded by Friction Services of Bristol in February 2018 (invoice available) further work was carried out in June 2018 by Harding Auto Services of Woking, including:- replacement of front wheel brake cylinders and master cylinder. - new starter cable - engine tune - carburettor adjustment (invoice available). The car starts, runs and handles well for its age. The windscreen wiper and direction indicators are in working order (though the right turn indicator sometimes has to be held in place). All dash board gauges function (though it's sometimes necessary to 'tap' the fuel gauge and ammeter. The dynamo tends to overcharge and on a long run it's advisable to switch on the headlights to counter this. A new battery was installed in 2020. 1998 MINI Cooper Sport LE. One of only 50 produced, in brooklands green with green leather interior. This is the later MPI engine, so has injection, with the SPORT pack and wheels.Mileage 72k. With a comprehensive service history and folder of receipts, plus a documented full restoration in 2013 with images.  She has a new grill, front lights and bowls, rear lights and dash. She also has the Sport alloy interior pack, with all the originals handles etc packed up, along with the original radio and a selection of spares. Interior is in excellent condition with undamaged leather seats and unmarked door cars and trim.  Solid bodywork, no signs of rust and very solid underneath. Runs absolutely faultlessly, very tight with no knocks and rattles. She starts and drives well, all gears slip through well, the clutch is light and easy to use, the engine starts and runs faultlessly and everything works exactly as it should  They originally made 50 of this special edition in 1998, with less than this now on the road.
