A mahogany and marquetry inlaid circular occasional table in the Victorian manner, the snap top on a turned pedestal to tripod base, 60 cm diameter, together with a 19th Century oak octagonal occasional table, the snap top on a turned pedestal to tripod base, 46.5 cm diameter, an Edwardian mahogany and inlaid oval two tier occasional table, 76 cm x 50 cm and a Victorian walnut single door hanging corner cupboard, 54 cm wide x 64.5 cm high
An 18th Century walnut and feather banded secretaire chest, the upper section with cushion drawer over a fall front compartment enclosing various pigeon holes, drawers and cupboard door over two short and two long drawers to bun feet, 105 cm wide x 49 cm deep x 163 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Does not appear to be a marriage as the feather banding top and bottom appear to match - also matching the interior. Colour overall appears good though there are slight variations particularly to the side panels which are slightly darker than the front though not markedly so. There are several areas of minor restoration throughout and filled areas. The veneers to the quartered front panel have split in several areas - see images - arguably requiring sympathetic restoration. There are a few areas of loss to the beading particularly to the right hand side with two larger sections. The base beading may possibly be either a stained replacement or restored original. Certainly it is more basic in colour than the rest of the piece. The beading between the two top drawers of the base is missing. The base has handles that stylistically work but are certainly not original as you can see the ovals a previous set of handles quite clearly. The interior top pigeon hole sections are possibly replacements as stained pine and pull out to reveal the pine drawers behind. The remainder of the interior appears in reasonable condition though there are some areas of veneer cracking - again see images for further detail. So whilst the piece is arguably in need of sympathetic restoration in several areas, the overall look could be described as good for a piece of its age. See images for further detail.
