A French oval gilt brass carriage timepiece by Duverdrey & Bloquel, 19th century, the white Roman enamel dial within a matted gilt mask, standing on four turned feet, the single train movement signed with the lion trademark, 6in. (15.2cm.) high, handle up, with key.* Provenance: Robin Fowler (Period Clocks), Aylesby, Grimsby * Condition: Good condition overall. Winds and runs. Dial has a small spot of glue residue to the lower centre edge. The handle is slightly distorted with a slightly uneven finish to the metal on this side, so may have been cracked and well restored at some stage. Two small chips to lower edge to left side glass and one tiny chip to lower left corner of movement door.
A fine William IV Ottoman style amboyna and ormolu English double fusee domed bracket or table clock, by Payne & Co. of 163 New Bond Street, London, circa 1830, the amboyna case with high domed top, profusely decorated with ormolu mounts, standing on ormolu double scroll feet to each of the outset corners, the arched sides and movement door with silk grilles behind ormolu masks, the gilt brass arched dial finely chased with leafy scrolls, with signed Roman chapter ring and Strike-Silent dial to the arch, fronting a restored double fusee movement striking the hours and half hours on a gong, with pull repeat, 16in. (40.7cm.) high.* Provenance: W. F. Turk, Fine Antique Clocks, Wimbledon Chase, London, c.1999 * Condition: Winds, runs and strikes correctly. In good condition overall. Movement very clean and has clearly been professionally cleaned and restored at some time. Minor veneer chips around key holes to sides. Locks original and functioning correctly. Some gilt wear to ormolu throughout. Dial very good, with a few tiny flakes to enamel on numerals and small scratch to centre. Case in good condition - old, minor cracks to veneers to movement door and a few tiny nicks and scratches to veneers and mouldings, which would be expected. Arched moulding above the movement door is slightly loose to one side. Two cracks to the lattice ormolu mask to the front of the dome, and one crack to the centre of the mask on the opposing side.
A Chinese carved hardwood table cabinet, probably 19th century, the panelled top over a pierced five panel frieze with dragon motifs, above a pair of doors to the centre with lower bas relief panels carved with vases below reticulated panels with figures amidst flowering plants, the three larger reticulated panels beneath with figures amidst trees, the sides with glazed panels over lower panels carved with auspicious objects, on four curled feet, 17¼ x 9¾in. (43.8 x 24.8cm.), 18½in. (47cm.) high. * Condition: Fading to top and a shrinkage crack across the panel. Fading to colour to left hand side. The right hand glazed panel is missing part of the pierced frame and a section is replaced to the glazed panel on the left side. Small shrinkage crack to top of the right hand door.
An 18th century oak and fruitwood two door panelled armoire, possibly Jersey, the flared, moulded cornice over five panel sides and a pair of three panel doors with pierced brass escutcheons and exposed hinges, the interior with two shelves, on stile feet, 61½ x 25¼in. (156.25 x 64cm.), 74¾in. (190cm.) high, good colour and patina.
A rare glazed walnut sportsman's cabinet by Hardy Bros. of Alnwick Ltd., the ogee cornice over a two pane glazed door enclosing a fitted interior with green baize lining, fitted with clamps for up to either eight rods or six rods and two guns, on a tiered stand with single drawer, maker's label to interior, on a chamfered plinth base, 28½ x 12½in. (72.5 x 31.75cm.), 84in. (213.25cm.) high.
A Bavarian, late 19th century, dark oak glazed cupboard, profusely carved in the baroque revival taste with the upper glazed door flanked by two carved cherubs with grotesque masks above and below, the lower glazed door flanked by carved musicians, with carved egg and dart and dog tooth cornice, three shelves to the upper cabinet and a half shelf to the lower cabinet and standing on four heavily carved legs, 30¾ x 21¾in. (78.1 x 55.2cm.), 84in. (213.3cm.) high.
A mahogany two door coin cabinet containing fourteen trays of coins, the majority with red felt linings, containing a collection of 19th and 20th century coins and some earlier examples. Silver Crest Models Gauge 3 (running on 2«" gauge track) 4-6-2 Loco and Tender BR lined green Britannia Class, gas fired. This is a Silver Crest Models Limited Edition No.44 of 50 produced "BRITANNIA" Loco and Tender. The loco has been renamed to "William Shakespeare" with nameplates glued to the smoke deflectors side together with an arrow, running number 70000 has been altered to 70004 to represent William Shakespeare. The locomotive has a number of other faults including detached smoke box door, some old glue residue to smoke deflectors from nameplates above front buffer beam and crew was originally glued to the inside of the cab. Model carries boiler number KS044 and gas tank number KSG044, the loco does not appear to have been run however it will require some work and engineering to get it back to running condition. A Silver Crest Models Boiler Hydraulic Test Certificate for KS044 is dated September 2012, boiler type is gas fired multi-flue, material is copper all silver soldered boiler with certificate dated 7/11/12 and a 12-month Warranty Certificate dated 15/3/2013. A good project for the large scale modeller/builder. Condition generally Good with Certificate of Authenticity.

This item has been registered as exempt from the UK Ivory Act 2018 on account of it being made before 3rd March 1947 with less than 10% ivory by volume.
