Great Eastern Railway 6inch Mahogany cased Fusee Bracket clock supplied to the G.E.R. by Bevan of Tottenham London circa 1880. The English chain driven fusee movement has rectangular snailed plates, the dial has been re written to its original style with GER 822 and retains its original cast brass bezel with a keyed lock. The Gothic style case has a glazed rear door with the GER ivorine numberplate 822 screwed to the inside. The L.N.E.R. records show that this clock was used at Liverpool Street Station Goods Manager. A rare and unusual Railway timepiece used by senior employees, complete with pendulum and keys and in working condition but not tested for timekeeping, stands 15in tall.
Manchester Sheffield and Lincolnshire mahogany cased 12 inch fusee railway clock with a large A frame chain driven English fusee movement in cleaned condition supplied by W. McFerran of Victoria St Manchester. The original dial lettered BR(E) 8334 and the rear of the dial is painted BR(E) 8334 and repaired June 2000 Ian Lyman. The ebonised mahogany case has the original side flap door, a replaced bottom door secured with a brass turn catch and a spun brass bezel. The LNER clock records show this clock as last in use at Grimsby Docks Parcels office and was MSL clock number 359. In working order but not checked for accuracy complete with pendulum and key. Circa 1870.
London & North Western Railway 6inch Mahogany cased Fusee Bracket clock supplied to the LNWR. by John Walker of London circa 1910. The English fusee movement has rectangular plates and the original dial has L.N.W.R. JNo Walker 1 South Molton St W To H.M. The King painted on and retains its original cast brass bezel. The mahogany case has a rear door with a lock. A nice Railway timepiece used in offices, complete with pendulum and keys and in working condition but not tested for timekeeping, stands 12.5in tall.
An early 20th century oak cased electric clocking-in machine, the painted dial signed MAGNETA ELECTRIC, Made In England, bearing a label for L & H Sudbury, enclosed by a glazed door, with clocking in mechanism below38w x 100h cmCondition report: Is currently wired and runs when plugged in, but we cannot guarantee it keeps time or operates correctly. No key for the base. Generally dirty and worn as you might expect having been used in a commercial building.
A 19th century American mahogany cased longcase clock, the brass dial signed, signed Mills, Dowling, engraved with an eagle, having an eight day movement, striking on a bell, 227cm high overallCondition report: Looks to be complete, but we have not had it running, as the wires are very twisted which support the weights. Hands do not move, quite as they should when pushed, so it likely needs setting up before it can be used and even then we cannot guarantee it works, as it is very old. The movement does appear to be complete and running free. Has weights, pendulum and key. Door to the hood has lost a pin, so falls forwards when opened. Was collected from an estate, where it had not been running recently. The case is basically complete, but does show the age and wear expected with an item of this age.

Ticks and winds ok, but we cannot guarantee it keeps time. Door opens ok. Hallmarks are clear. Movement looks clean. Dial undamaged. Light signs of use/age as exepected.

Some slight marks to case, most noticeable on the door at the front, but overall condition looks to be clean. Has various papers from the retailer.
