An early twentieth century and later RAF mess wall clock, dial diameter 25 cm. CONDITION REPORT: In poor condition and with alterations. Glass cracked. Door hinge broken. Case with scratches and scuffs. The dial is dirty and is slightly misaligned, therefore the clock cannot be wound. The dial is missing three out of four screws (at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock). Two case pegs are present, the other two are missing. Contains a later single-barrel movement. The pendulum is associated and the pendulum suspension is a crude replacement (see close up images). The movement is dirty. See additional images.
A Victorian Gothic revival four door wardrobe, with arched Gothic detail, inverted break-front cornice, width 268 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Overall this measures 203cm high, 73cm deep and 268cm wide. There are typical scuffs and scratches to the veneer, as well as some minor losses to the veneer. Overall this is in good condition. The cornice lifts off, as does the base. The body divides into a central two-door cabinet which is 122cm wide, as well as two separate sentry box cabinets on either side which each measure 61cm wide.
A Victorian Polyphon, in walnut case, together with fifty discs and winding handle. CONDITION REPORT: Disc diameter 50 cm. Case measurements - 69.5 cm wide, 92.5 cm high, 39.5 cm deep. The lock to the bottom drawer is loose and needs work, so too is the lock on the door itself which is missing. There are some small nibbles to the base of the door veneer. The case doesn't appear to have any signs of worm. The case has some minor knocks and nibbles associated with age but no signs of big splits or damages. The Polyphon has been playing away on the view and sounds loud and clear. For further clarity please call the office for assistance.
