A rare German tinplate live steam plant by Doll & Cie. Powered by a single cylinder horizontal engine with 10cm diameter flywheel, fitted with coiled wire to regulator, power take off, plated brass piping, steel connecting rods, and taps. Boiler with detachable chimney, whistle with tap, filler tap, pressure valve with tap and piping, pressure gauge and two other taps. Boiler mounted on simulated brick base with 4 fan style ventilators to sides, opening door for burner tray, missing. All mounted on a heavy tin base painted in black with red line detail, 29cm x 26.5cm. GC for age, some chipping and age patina overall. Plate 2
