The fifth generation of the legendary SL series of two-door convertible sports cars was known as the R230. It featured a fully retractable hardtop that was marketed as the Vario roof, a first for the SL class although it had been available on the smaller SLK model since 1997. The flagship models were built by AMG in the form of the SL55 and SL65, both highly tuned versions of the SL500 and SL600 respectively. The SL55 was powered by a mighty supercharged version of the 5.5 litre, V8 which produced 493bhp and achieved 0-62 in 4.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 155mph (governed). In theory, the SL55 could reach 190mph if the car was derestricted but, for many, the acceleration and top speed is impressive enough in its standard form! The SL55 AMG is further enhanced by an F1 Performance Package offering a truly dynamic driving experience; this high-performance version of the roadster is closely derived from the official FIA Safety Car for 2002. The enhanced dynamic characteristics relate to an extensive range of revisions to its body - engine cooling system, brakes, and suspension. Larger cooling-air intakes and an additional engine-oil cooler ensure that the AMG V8 super-charged engine is maintained at the optimum operating temperatures during aggressive driving. The SL55 AMG with the Performance Package also draws on its Formula 1 counterpart when it comes to the chassis set-up, together with the choice of wheels and tyres. The Mercedes-Benz AMG engineers based the configuration on the set-up used by official FIA Safety Car driver Bernd Mayländer on all the F1 Grand Prix circuits. This example of the incredibly desirable SL55 with the F1 Performance Pack is finished in gleaming Obsidian Black over a mid-grey and black ash interior; it appears almost unmarked. Fitted with a set of hollow-spoke, 19" F1 split-rim alloys, shod with 4 correct Pirelli tyres, the car is also de-restricted to its maximum 186mph should you be brave enough! Options including panoramic glass Vario roof, Bose sound-system, key-less go, CD and Command NAV. The SL55 has ten service invoices, the last service undertaken in January 2020. Maintained regardless of cost this Mercedes has recently benefited from new control arms and bushes fitted to the front suspension and a recent ABC flush, the work costing circa £1,500. This wonderful looking example is an opportunity not to be missed. A collectable, comfortable and extremely capable modern classic.

The standard Sierra that we all know and love was homologated in 1986 for Group A Touring Car Racing. That is to say, 5,000 units needed to be built by Ford's Special Vehicle Engineering (SVE) and sold in this advanced state of tune. It didnt take long and this Blue Collar Hero was born. Latterly, it was announced that Mike Moreton was head of the team that planned to develop an Evolution Edition of the already formidable RS in order to make the car unbeatable on the racetracks and, in March 1987, Aston Martin Tickford was signed for the job of converting the 500 allocated cars. The Cosworth RS500 was announced in July 1987 and was homologated in August that same year. It had minor external cosmetic differences to its parent, the Sierra three-door Cosworth, the rear tailgate had a lower spoiler in addition to the upper whale-tail alongside discreet RS500 badging on the rear tailgate and front wings. A redesigned front bumper and spoiler to aid cooling and air flow, including the removal of the fog lamps and their replacement with intake grilles to supplement brake cooling. The example presented here today has just four previous keepers since it was built some 35 years ago and still retains the correct Recaro seats, tilting sunroof and Garrett turbo-charged, two-litre, five-speed gearbox. The spoked alloy wheels and Toyo rubber is in good order all round and with £2,500 recently spent under the bonnet including a new water pump and cambelt replacement, the vendor is certainly someone who cherished his possessions. Freshly serviced and with a new MoT test certificate, these are apex collectables and this, part of a collection for some time, will certainly generate interest.

Introduced in 1957, the Fiat 500 Nuova may be considered one of the first small city cars. Fiat produced their famous 'suicide door' 500 D from 1960-1965. This was also available with the trasformabile (transformable) roof that folds all the way back down to the engine bay and was only available in left hand drive format. This combination of fully convertible roof and suicide doors is very rare now and has become the most collectable version of the 500.This wonderfully presented example has been restored to a very high standard and as such presents in excellent condition. Uprated with a 650cc engine, synchromesh gearbox, electric push button starter and front disc brakes. Reported by the vendor to drive exceptionally well it has been used regularly on high days and holidays during his tenure. The bodywork shows no noticeable scratches, dents or corrosion and the interior is very well indeed. Finished with a set of period-correct 12€ steel wheels with chrome hub caps, this delightful example is offered with sundry invoices, certificate of origin, and the UK V5 registration document. This desirable suicide door trasformabile example is sure to be huge amounts of fun for the new owner in the coming summer months!

Lot 136

Following the resounding success of the R107, the R129 Mercedes-Benz SL had a rather tough act to follow, as it still had to carry on the tradition of a fast and reliable grand touring convertible. The advantage designers had with the R129 was technology. By the time the final car rolled off the production line in 1989, these earlier models had been in production for 18 years with very little change. Therefore, the SL500 featured many new and innovative ideas, such as controlled electronic damping, automatically expanding roll-over bar and a more modern multi-link rear axle. In addition to this was a fully operating electric roof, windows, door mirrors and seats, which made this model easy and comfortable to operate. The new SL also boasted a more powerful engine and the stopping power was aided by anti-lock braking for added reassurance.First registered in March 1993 having been supplied by Normand (Mayfair) Ltd. of Wembley. This low owner example of the Mercedes-Benz R129 is presented in Signal Red coachwork with biscuit leather trim which to the front has recently been re-upholstered. Supplied with the desirable AMG alloy wheels and hardtop. Offered with the Mercedes book pack which includes a comprehensively stamped service booklet with 18 stamps. This lovely example of a usable modern classic has an MoT test certificate and has been fully valeted to looks it absolute best and perfect for summer motoring.Guide Price £10,000 - £15,000

Lot 140

The Silver Wraith was the first post-war Rolls-Royce offered directly to the general public. Traditionally, their cars were offered as engine only/rolling chassis then delivered directly to a coach builder to receive the body of choice. They were larger than their sibling, the Bentley Mk. VI, and were equipped with independent front suspension and hydraulic shock absorbers, appealing to both owner-drivers and passengers alike.Originally delivered to Mr. Arthur Aman of Windlesham in Surrey by Brooklands of Bond Street in 1952, instructions included Silver Dawn headlamps and a wider, more imposing, bonnet. It was then absorbed as a company asset by Arthur Aman & Co. in 1954 followed by sale to Mr. Philip Rickards of Fulham, London in 1962. Mr. K. Hemmingway of Stanmore, Middlesex in 1965 became the last recorded owner on the enclosed period owners documentation. More recently, documents show that the car came from the US to a Mr. David Leppan of Phillimore Gardens, London who imported the car from Los Angeles to Felixstowe in 2010. All taxes and duties were paid at the time and part of the UK V5, and NOVA is enclosed. It was then sold to a noted German collector before finding its way back to the UK.Originally a black car with contrasting brown leather interior, it has since been painted in these two shades of a much more cheerful blue. New carpets have been installed, front and rear and, some time ago, a boot-mounted, air-conditioning system has been integrated into the superstructure and reported to be fully functioning. The aluminium exterior of the car is in excellent general condition with faults hard to find. The aluminium bumpers are also in excellent condition although the wing mirrors would benefit from some light attention along with the interior silvering of the offside headlamp. This imposing example has also just undertaken a mechanical overhaul alongside a major service and is reported to be running beautifully with a powerful, silent engine exhibiting good oil pressure and cool running at motorway speeds.A large diameter steering wheel allows for easy low-speed manoeuvring and new white wall tyres are fitted all round with chrome wheel centres recently purchased and fitted. The internal appointments are of equally good quality with period blue leather in good order throughout and just minor wear on the drivers bolster. There are walnut picnic tables, fold-out footrests, and foot-cushions for the rear occupants with door cappings and dashboard in excellent condition. Additional details include the original brass Pyrene fire-extinguisher, modern Alpine radio and a golden Spirit of Ecstasy.A very well-prepared and sporting Rolls-Royce, effortlessly able to keep up with modern traffic and with many miles ahead of her.

Lot 169

The Triumph Vitesse was introduced in May 1962, re-using a name previously used by the pre-Second World War Triumph Motor Company, and was an in-line six-cylinder performance version of the Triumph Herald small saloon. The Herald had been introduced on 22nd April 1959 and was an attractive two-door car styled by the Italian designer Giovanni Michelotti. Within two years, Triumph began to give thought to a sports saloon based on the Herald and using their six-cylinder engine. Michelotti was again approached for styling, and he came up with a car that used almost all body panels from the Herald, combined with a new front end with a slanted four-headlamp design. This elegant Vitesse shows only three owners since it was first registered in November 1964. Recently benefitting from a full respray, this Triumph now presents well in white with a contrasting red interior. We are informed that this Vitesse is a joy to drive and started on request. This hardtop version is offered for sale with a V5C registration document and without reserve. Some fun summertime driving awaits the successful bidder.

The car today is very smart sitting on later six spoke Mercedes alloy wheels and having had a full valet. Accompanying the car is a full book pack including comprehensively stamped service booklet with 14 stamps the most recent in December 2021 at 82,000 miles and an MoT test certificate until December 2022. Lot 30

The Mercedes-Benz R107 and C107 models were manufactured from 1971 through to 1989 and were the longest running production models after the G-Class. They were sold under the SL and SLC model names as the 280SL, 280SLC, 300SL, etc. up to the 560SL. The R107 roadster has been described as one of the best looking Mercedes-Benz cars produced to date. The larger, third generation SL, initially with just a 3.5-litre engine (350 SL) mated to four-speed automatic transmission. The car featured a two-door monocoque bodyshell with independent suspension all round, coil springs and anti-roll bar at the front, semi-trailing arms, coil springs and anti-roll bar at the rear. The power assisted steering was Daimler-Benz's own re-circulating ball system. Originally registered on 1st August 1986 this Mercedes-Benz has had a total restoration, including the bulkhead, of which the receipts are in the significant history folder. We are advised this 300SL drives with no known faults. The delightful colour combination of blue with grey leather interior makes this an aesthetically pleasing car to both look at and to drive. The optional rear seat also helps should you have more than one passenger. Formerly the property of BBC journalist and news reader Sophie Raworth, this Mercedes-Benz is supplied with a V5C registration document, together with a current MoT test certificate. The R107 range are renowned for their reliability and should give you years of enjoyable and fun motoring.  Interested parties please note. This car was advertised with a full years MoT. Unfortunately it failed the MoT, however it will be repaired and taken care of by the vendor and should be ready for collection by the end of next week.

Lot 31

The Mercedes-Benz R129 SL roadsters were produced from 1989 through 2002. It replaced the R107 in 1989 and was, in turn, replaced by the R230 SL-Class in 2002 for the 2003 model year. R129 was produced as a two door, two seat roadster with an automated (electro-hydraulic), collapsible textile roof, with a shell-like, colour matched, tonneau cover. All R129s came standard with an aluminium detachable hard top that was fitted by folding the canvas roof down and manually attaching the hard top. Designed in 1984, the R129 was based on the shortened floor pan of the Mercedes-Benz W124 and featured many innovative details for the time, for instance electronically controlled damping (Adaptive Damping System ADS, optional) and a hidden, automatically extending roll-over bar. The number of standard features was high, with electric action for the windows, mirrors, seats and hydraulic convertible top. This lovely, three owners from new example is presented in two-tone metallic blue with its bespoke Black Nappa  leather interior. The car comes with its factory hard top, full main dealer service history recorded in the service book and also comes with a new MoT test certificate. This particular car also comes with air conditioning, heated and electrically operated seats. The present owner also had a new Mohair black hood fitted which still has not been used since its installation.  This is a rare model, being one of only 50 made for the UK market and having covered a mere 44,661 miles from new, makes this extremely desirable.

Lot 42

Arguably one of the most famous Big Cats from Browns Lane, these four-door saloons certainly did not pull any punches. Equipped with the same engine as Jaguars legendary E-Type and good for 123mph, they were rightly chosen by both Her Majestys Constabulary and, often, the focus of their attention as well; four up and a boot full of swag.Speed, however, was not the only consideration in making these family saloons so popular. Chassis setup was advanced and performance was impressive as was build quality with leather throughout, a walnut dash and, as here, chrome wire wheels. According to the JDHT certificate, it was originally built in cream with a dark blue leather interior, this was swapped for a more contemporary signal red coachwork and black leather interior trim later. Its sales history can be found within the history folder but, importantly, it was sold by Barnsbury Classics in 1996 to Mr. John Groom who initiated a number of significant upgrades; most importantly to include XJS power steering, Optronic electronic ignition, Dinowax underbody protection as well as air-conditioning, uprated suspension and a modified lighting and audio kit. Complete with an MoT test certificate, this has made for an and extremely usable and efficient Jaguar. Something that can be used everyday or hustled through those country lanes if required. This is certainly a good one; after all, it wouldnt be the cover car for Autocar and Classic & Sportscar if not...

Lot 43

The Porsche 944 was built from 1982 to 1991 and was built on the same platform as the 924. The 944 was intended to last into the 1990s but major revisions planned for a 944 S3 model were eventually rolled into the 968 instead which replaced the 944. The 944 was a successful model and was available as both a coupé and cabriolet in naturally aspirated and turbocharged forms. In mid-1985, the Porsche 944 underwent significant changes. These included a new dashboard together with new door panels, embedded radio antenna as well as some mechanical changes. Also included was a larger fuel tank, optional heated and powered seats, Porsche Hi-Fi sound system and revisions in the mounting of the transaxle to reduce noise and vibration. The numbers built, reflecting the popularity of the model, made it one of the most successful cars in Porsche's history. This excellent S2 944 Cabriolet was owned by an older gentleman for most of the past fifteen years. Latterly however, he was struggling to get in and out of the car and as a result was using it less and less. His son, a mechanic, had maintained the car for him and kept it in good working order from when he acquired the car in 2007 through until the vendor purchased it at the beginning of 2021. Showing a total of 14 stamps in the service book, the last service, (April 2021 at AVS, Ltd, with all parts supplied by Design 911 Ltd), included the important cambelt service. The invoice shows that this service included the replacement of the cambelt idler roller, tensioner roller, belt idler, power steering belt and cam cover gasket. The vendor, one of his businesses being a bodyshop, noticed the very early signs of rust on the usual spots for the 944 in the corners of the lower wings. Whilst barely noticeable, a perfectionist, he decided that they should all be repaired using new metal, repainted and re-stonechipped. The rest of the car is in as good condition, with the engine bay very clean and the boot interior unmarked. The blue interior is in good order and the car runs and drives very well with the hood raising and lowering without issue. The car also benefits from a new battery and has its original and very rare hood cover included.Supplied with its correct and original leather handbooks, service booklet, V5C registration document and new MoT test certificate valid through until February 2023, this lovely example is a well presented and unmodified 944 S2 with a total use of less than 11,000 miles recorded in the last 15 years.Guide Price: £12,000-£16,000

Lot 44

Launched in 1998, the Arnage was manufactured in Crewe from 1998 to 2009 with its Rolls-Royce sibling, the Silver Seraph, introduced in the Spring of 1998. They were the first entirely new designs for the two marques since 1980 when the Silver Spirit and Mulsanne models were introduced. The new Arnage (Green Label) was to be powered by a BMW V8 engine with Cosworth-engineered, twin-turbo chargers and the Seraph was to employ a BMW V12 engine. The Arnage Red Label was launched in October 1999 with the engine reverting back to Bentley power using the traditional V8 engine and a displacement of 6750cc. As part of the modification process, both Red and Green Label cars benefitted from expanded leg room in the cabin, stiffer bodyshells and larger wheels and brakes. This lovely 2000 Bentley Arnage, fitted with 6.75 litre Rolls-Royce engine, was supplied new to a high specification, finished in Peacock Blue with white pin stripping with cream, piped in blue leather interior complemented with walnut wood door cappings and picnic tables to the rear compartment. This Bentley was also supplied with cream instrument dials, dark blue lambs wool over rugs and is fitted with split rim alloy wheels. The car has covered 61,000 miles from new with a good service history, first with Bentley Parks of Hamilton then with marque specialists, Silver Lady Services. Supplied with a V5 registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in August 2022, the book pack containing the stamped service book and two keys with alarm fobs. These wonderful superior and luxurious classic Bentleys present such good value for money considering their original sale price.

Lot 46

The Volkswagen Type 2 was introduced in 1950 as a multi-variant utility vehicle, known as the Transporter, Kombi or Microbus (depending on body type), and was devised as an evolution of the Volkswagen Type 1, the original Beetle. The first generation of these versatile vehicles (named the T1) was produced with distinctive split-screens from 1950 until 1967. Only two models were originally offered, the Kombi and the Commercial, the Microbus was added in May 1950, and was joined by the Deluxe Microbus in June 1951. The Deluxe Microbus (known as the Sunroof Deluxe' in America) was the most luxurious version of the Volkswagen Transporter T1. The Deluxe model featured eight rear side windows and two rear corner windows, making it the '15-window' but was not available in Europe. Meanwhile, the European-market Deluxe Microbus, with its additional eight small skylight windows is, accordingly, the '23-window'. From the 1964 model year with its wider rear door, the rear corner windows were discontinued, making the latter two, the 13-window and 21-window respectively. The 23 and later 21 window variants each carry the famous nickname 'Samba' and are particularly revered. This wonderfully presented example is an 11 window Microbus model and has been the subject of a comprehensive restoration in more recent times. Built in December 1963, and subsequently registered new in 1964 this camper was a one owner example for much of its life before being imported to the UK from Oregon, USA in 2010. Its second owner commissioned an extensive restoration of the split-screen including a comprehensive respray to the body at which point many parts were powder coated before being re-fitted. The interior was also professionally refinished at this time and still looks excellent today. The engine was also treated to new twin port heads, and a set of DellOrto 36 DLRA carburettors were fitted powering up the stock 1600cc motor. Presented in excellent condition throughout the paintwork is very good retaining a deep shine, and the engine and engine bay are in fantastic order. Offered with a large history file detailing the restoration, sundry invoices, old Mot test certificates and the UK registration document. Having completed many road trips with its current vendor, notably to Goodwood, this charming and pristine example is ready to be enjoyed immediately by its new custodian.

The very pretty and highly desirable Mercedes-Benz 250 SL was the successor to the popular 230 SL and was first introduced to the public at the 1967 Geneva Motor Show. The brief production run ended a year later in January 1968 and as a result of this short run, the 250 SL is the rarest of the W 113 (Pagoda) series cars. These lovely German stalwarts were offered with a four-speed automatic, a four-speed manual box or the ZF five-speed. Also, for the first time an optional limited slip differential was also available. This fabulous fully restored, including engine rebuild, Pagoda Mercedes is presented in red with black leather interior and is left hand drive. Its restoration was carried out by various Mercedes-Benz specialists and looks fabulous. The car had a full glass-out respray, brand new Mercedes-Benz grained leather interior including full dash, door cards, seats etc. Brand new salt and pepper carpets have been installed and brand new wood including dash and surrounds. The restoration also included a brand new Mohair hood, exhaust, headlights and rubber seals throughout, interior works carried out by leading marque specialists, D Class of Surrey cost in excess of £16,000. The full list of the works carried out can be seen in the history file as well as the summary of the engine work which was carried out and it has covered zero miles since its completion. As part of its engine rebuild, it received a full tune up and reset all settings and controls, reset mixture/tappets and clearances as well as draining the oil, brake fluid and the braking system was fully bled. The original documents held on file include its Service Book, stamped Mercedes-Benz Kundendienst, Germany.  Fastidious attention to maintaining originality including correct period Becker Europa radio, Hirschmann aerial and new Michelin tyres.  This truly is a superb restoration and is resplendent in its gleaming new red paint. One of the finest of this marque on the market today. The Vendor has applied for a V5 log book from the DVLA but this may not have arrived by the time of the Auction. Therefor it may be sold without its new log book but when it arrives the new owner can then apply for it to be changed into their name.Interested parties should note that  whilst driving well when being consigned and photographed three weeks ago, a new fuel pump has been fitted which currently is not working but the vendor will rectify at his cost before any new owner takes delivery of this vehicle.

The 2013 Spur weighs 5,580lbs and carries the same twin-turbo, 6.0 litre W12 engine used in the Continental GT, for an output of 600 horsepower and 533 pound-feet of torque. Before David Plastow left his senior position at Rolls-Royce following the take-over of Vickers plc, he had been responsible for a series of models, amongst which was the Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit. The Silver Spirit was unveiled in October 1980 as a replacement for the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. The coachwork of the Silver Spirit had been designed at the in-house styling centre by Fritz Feller and gave the impression of being stretched in comparison with the bodies of the previous generation. Direct comparison, however, showed only small differences. The new models had slightly grown in length and width; height had been cut a little, although the styling was more modern than that of its predecessor. The interior was dominated by the expected combination of fine wood and sumptuous leather. The Silver Dawn is a special edition of the Silver Spur III with several additional options, such as Electronic Traction Assistance System. In a short model run of just three years, only 237 cars were produced worldwide with around 80 cars staying in the UK, making the Silver Dawn one of the rarest Rolls-Royce cars produced in recent times. Originally supplied by Michael Powles Ltd in Leicester and first registered on 22nd August 1996, this Rolls-Royce presents in beautiful condition. The Peacock Blue paintwork is virtually unmarked as is the contrasting Magnolia interior. The seats are piped in blue, and the Wilton carpets are in dark blue as are the lambswool rugs. A copy of the original build sheets accompanies this Silver Dawn, clearly this has been a very well cared for example. There are a significant number of invoices in the history folder from P & A Wood and more latterly from a specialist. The fourth generation BMW M3 was announced on the 2007 Geneva Motor Show. It was originally set to be called M4 along with 3 Series coupés and convertibles that were to become the 4 Series but, due to the interest in retaining the M3 line as well as the plan for a separate 4 series line, this change was scrapped. Like the previous M3 generations that introduced a new engine, the fourth generation M3 did the same: the BMW S65 V8 engine producing 414bhp. The E92 M3 coupé inherited a carbon-fibre roof similar to the one used on the E46 CSL. For 2011, the E92 M3 received a model refresh, changes included minor interior trim pieces and LED rear taillights. The new M3 is again available as a four-door saloon, based on the E90 3 Series saloon, but unlike the regular saloons, the M3 version shares the coupé's wide and sculpted front end, including headlights. Although the front-end design of the saloon matches the specific look and high-performance character of the coupé, the side-sills and rear diffuser are tailored for the saloon. This superb, ex Sytner Used BMW example is presented in silver with black leather interior. This lovely convertible M3 comes with air conditioning, electric heated memory front seats, CD player and satellite navigation. It has the desirable DCT Automatic seven speed gearbox with paddle shift and is fitted with a Scorpion rear exhaust box and the car body has had a ceramic coating applied. The present owner has just had the car serviced on 24th/25th February,  in accordance to the service book. The car also comes with a new MoT test certificate and a full BMW service history up to and including 2018 and thereafter specialists according to the service indicator. Also, the vendor informs us that it comes with a Motoreasy Plan C (2 year) warranty which is valid until August 1st this year and has not been used to date!  This is one of the best examples of this model we have seen and €œwants for nothing€ as they say!

The Ferrari 575M Maranello is a two-seat, two-door, grand tourer which was launched in 2002, it is essentially an updated 550 Maranello featuring minor styling changes from Pininfarina. The 575M was replaced by the 599 GTB in the first half of 2006. Updates from the 550, included a renewed interior, but with substantial improvements mechanically, including bigger brake discs, a larger and more powerful engine, improved weight distribution, refined aerodynamics and fluid dynamics along with an adaptive suspension set-up (the four independent suspensions are also controlled by the gearbox, to minimise pitch throughout the 200 milliseconds shift time). Two six-speed transmissions were available, a conventional manual gearbox and for the first time on a Ferrari V12, Magneti Marelli's semi-automatic (Electrohydraulic manual) 'F1' gearbox. The 575 model number refers to total engine displacement in litres, whilst the 'M' is an abbreviation of modificato ('modified').This very good Ferrari 575M F1, fitted with the semi-automatic gearbox, was supplied new in 2002 by Cornes Ferrari in Japan and imported to the United Kingdom in May 2017. Finished in Argento Nurburgring (Silver) with contrasting Bordeaux leather interior with Bordeaux carpets. The car is supplied with a very good options list including electric seats, red brake calipers, 19 inch five spoke alloy wheels, a Bordeaux carpet rear shelf, climate control and black dials. It has been very well maintained with a full service history and comes with a V5 registration document, an MoT test certificate, the original manuals, toolkit and bag. this lovely Ferrari 575M Maranello is a great car to look at and an even better one to drive.

Stylish, fast, and practical, the Stag began life as a Triumph 2000 based styling exercise by Italian carrossier, Giovanni Michelotti. A 2+2 convertible, Michelotti's design featured a quad-lamp grille and sculpted front and rear ends, the latter destined to appear on many future Triumphs. By the time production commenced in 1970, the 2000's six-cylinder engine had been replaced by a three litre V8. A padded, 'T' shaped roll bar bracing the door pillars and windscreen was one of the Stag's most distinctive features and the model was available in soft-top, hardtop or soft with hardtop formats. Motor Sport described the Stag's interior as, 'well appointed, having all the usual instrumentation one would expect in a high-performance car.'  Presented in white with refurbished brown trim, this automatic example was first registered on 17th November 1977 and was 95% restored between 2015 and 2017 by a Stag enthusiast before the owner fell ill. Since then, the car has been garaged and SORN; it remained off the road until last year when it was completed by a local Stag specialist. It has benefitted from a recent new mohair hood with reconditioned frame, together with new chrome front and rear bumpers and a recently fitted modern Clifford alarm/immobiliser that works well. Included in the history file are many invoices from the restoration, old MoT test certificates and two sets of keys. Now presented as an older, well refreshed, restoration, this is a fabulous entry level classic with a thriving club network.
