A William III scarlet japanned longcase clock the movement circa 1700 the case associated and later decorated, the 11 inch square brass dial signed T H O Bridge, London, with centred subsidiary seconds dial and date aperture within a ring of Arabic and Roman numerals with cherub moulded pieced spandrels, the eight day five pillar movement striking on a single bell, the case later scarlet japanned depicting figures and pagodas highlighted in gilt, the hood with three quarter tapering turned front corner hood pilasters, over a long trunk door on a box base and short bracket feet, 190.5cm high
