An 18th Century Crossbanded Oak Welsh Dresser, 183cm by 51cm by 202cm 202cm is the height. Back boards are pine, drawer linings are oak. Evidene of old worm throughout. One door with damage to the hinges and split. Veneer and split repairs crudely done to the door. Some veneer losses and repair to other door. Splits to cupboard doors on bottom section, one with a large area of repair at the corner. Losses to the cockbeading. TOp of the bottom section with three large splits and a noticeable ring mark. In two sections.

White dial with Roman numerals, painted gilt spandrels and oval hand painted plaque above the dial depicting a maiden awaiting the return of her lover's ship. Painted makers name "Broon" of Burton. Glazed arch door with broken arch pediment over with brass finial and scroll caps. Tapering brass columns with brass ends flapping the door. Oak case with panelled plinth. Brass pendulum on rod, weights suspended on wire. Footplate fixed to case. Winder and key with us. Overall height 223cm. Width of Hood 50.5cm. Dial 13inches/33cm.
Three 19th Century slate mantle clocks comprising: 1) A two-train French 8 day movement striking on the hour and half hour, stamped "Medaille d'Argent 1855 Vincenti & Cie" (with pendulum and key) in a slate case with broken arch supported by corinthian columns, white enamelled dial with Roman numerals, bevelled glass with brass frame door. H 27cm, W 25cm, D 14cm; 2) A two train 8 day movement striking the hour and half hour, with no makers mark, in a French Empire Revival style slate case. The brass dial with Arabic numerals in circular reveals, a bevelled glass and brass framed door. The monumental case with deep plinth, decorated with carved gilt scroll work supporting a body with decorative columns, semi-circular corinthian columned palladium to each side and a pediment with a gilded brass mask - all surmounted by a slated dome with acorn shaped finial. H 40cm, W 40cm, D 11cm; 3) A similar clock with scrolled, gilt brass columns and acanthus leaf scroll work, the dial having a gilt brass centre depicting a Greco-Roman scene, with an ivorine chapter ring bearing Arabic numerals. H 30cm, W 39cm, D 14cm. (3)
A late 19th Century Lancet shaped mantle clock in mahogany case supported on brass bracket feet and sporting brass axe-head drop handles. With brass framed convex glass door opening to an enamelled dial with Arabic numerals bearing the retailer's name of Maple & Co, of Paris and London. The two train movement by A D Mougin of Montbeliard. Key and Pendulum present. H 25cm, W 19cm.

A 19th century brass repeating carriage clock, Probably French, the movement marked Fel Alaium?, having a visible escapement having a white dial with Roman numerals together with a subsidiary alarm dial below, 16cm high. *CR escapement appears to be later, repeating function worked when tested but functionality is not guaranteed, back door is wedged shut, general marks and wear.

John Elliott, Plymouth, a mid-18th century pull quarter repeat table clock. The mahogany case having a domed top surmounted by a brass handle, the break arch door with foliate quadrants, the sides having glass panels (possibly Victorian) raised on a plinth base. The arched silvered and brass dial inscribed John Elliott with Roman numerals, Arabic five minute markers and pierced hands. The gilt matted center having a date aperture and Strike and Silent subsidiary dial enclosed by brass foliate spandrels. The clock having a twin fusee movement with verge escapement, striking to a series of graduated bells, the back plate finely engraved with scrolling flowers and foliage, brass pendulum with pear shaped bob, approx 52 h x 32.5w cms, complete with winding key. The pull cord pulley has been removed and bell mechanism deactivated.
