A good George III mahogany bell top bracket clock by Thomas Haley, LondonThe ogee moulded cornice with gilt brass swing handle above an arched door enclosing a 5 1/2 inch brass dial with strike/silent over a Roman & Arabic chapter ring with signature in shaped recessed panel, on a plinth base and gilt brass bracket feet, the twin but fusee movement with five knopped pillars, the verge escapement striking on a bell, signed again on the plain back plate, 25cm wide, 18cm wide, 42cm high.
A George III Scottish mahogany longcase clock by Roger Welsh of Dalkeith The pagoda top with brass turned finials and pierced gilt brass fret panel and an arched door flanked by stop-fluted columns, above an arched door and panel moulded base, the 11 1/2" brass dial with signature plaque above a Roman and Arabic chapter ring with matted centre, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, the movement with anchor escapement, rack strike on a bell with four tapering knop pillars, 242cm high.

A collection of various militaria: including a WWI 1915-15 Star to 'B731 Sjt T Pattison 2/R .W Fus' an aluminium ARP warden door sign, buttons, badges etc.* Notes Militaria artefacts are reproduced in significant numbers, in particular those from the World War II period and some may use original parts. A fine 18th century longcase clock by Joshua Hewlett, Bristol. The English 8-day movement, 8-bell quarter chiming and 9th bell for hours, flat silvered, engraved brass dial, Roman numerals to chapter ring, subsidiary Arabic minutes, with moon phase, tide dial to arch, blued steel hands and mahogany case with blind fretting. CONDITION REPORT: There is a split to the lower case which has gone all the way through the panel, splitting it in two. There are natural cracks forming to parts of the clock including the door escutcheon, sides of hood etc. There is a section of moulding detached from the right side of the case beneath the hood, the piece is present. There is another thinner strip of moulding beneath this which is missing. There are old repairs and some small losses to the fretwork and dentil moulding around the hood. There is some old worm damage visible to the back of the hood. The movement appears to have been refurbished at some point with modern nylon strings added. There is no winding key present. This has not been tested within the saleroom. This is 254cm high by 55cm wide by 29cm deep. See images.
Pair 19th century style mahogany bedside cabinet on taper legsCondition report: Reasonably good condition commensurate with age. No woodworm or breaks/repairs. One door is coming away from its hinges and is slightly warped, narrow gap at the top but does close. Scuffs around the catch near the handles. Split in the wood at the side of one cabinet. Handles are Bakelite. Minor areas of beading are missing.
