SIGNED EARLY EDITION SPANIARD IN THE WORKS. An early printing (possibly first edition) of John Lennon's 'A Spaniard In The Works' (Jonathan Cape, 1965) signed to first page in blue ink by John Lennon. Book is in Fine condition with clean pages and only light wear to spine and edges. Inscribed to reverse of cover with original owner's name. Note on provenance from vendor: "My friend and I went to England in July 1966. We bought the books in London and went to Weybridge / St. George's Hill to the house of John Lennon. A Lady opened the door and asked what we wanted. We showed the books and asked for an autograph. Then John Lennon signed the books." Authenticated by Roger Epperson prior to this sale.

BEATLES LIVERPOOL JAZZ SOCIETY TICKET. A complimentary ticket to admit two ladies to the club at 13, Temple Street on the 13th March 1961. Formerly known as "The Iron Door" The Beatles headlined the evening of the 13th March and performed along with Gerry And The Pacemakers. The ticket has the names of Rory Storm and The Hurricanes, The Fabulous Beatles and Gerry and The Pacemakers stamped in red on the reverse. The ticket is in excellent condition and measures 11cm x 8.5cm.
