EARLY 19TH CENTURY WELSH STAINED OAK EIGHT DAY LONG CASE CLOCK by Evan Evans of Newcastle Emlyn, having broken swan neck pediment above arched aperture flanked by reeded corinthium colums, shaped waist door under strap work frieze flanked by quarter reeded pilasters on a panelled base with bracket feet. Face with rolling moon, Roman Numerals, seconds and dial and date aperture, eight day, two train movement striking on one bell. Face 17.5`` x 12.5`` (44cm x 33cm). Clock overall 220cm high approx. Case overall has been heavily varnished and is in poor condition, particularly around the panelled base which is coming apart. The face is original and in reasonable condition. Case requires restoration.
