Decorator's paint on back edges. Base lacking much of beaded panel and both left and right base mouldings In need of cleaning and polishing. A George III mahogany arched and painted dial longcase clock, George Monks of Prescot, the hood with swan-neck pediment and glass inserts above fluted full columns flanking the arched door, the trunk with shaped door between fluted quarter columns, the cross-banded base box with canted corners set on a later foot, the arched painted dial with painted moon phase having rural and nautical scenes, the chapter ring with Roman and Arabic numerals around two exotic birds, subsidiary seconds dial and calendar aperture, the eight-day movement with brass pates and four knopped pillars, striking on a bell, with two weights, pendulum and winder, 61cm wide x 28cm deep x 227cm high.Condition report: Hood missing bosses/caps to pediment volutes. Possible missing element to centre finial and missing moulding to top right corner. Minor wear to glass panels. Hood door has some veneer patches and areas of veneer lifting. Splits to hood sides. Trunk fair with fine splits to the sides at the top and some cracking to the centre of the door. Case back split. Base box has cosmetic marks and losses to inlay. Foot is a later replacement. Dial fair and appears to be in original condition with no evidence or repainting/retouching, some minor wear consistent with age and use and a fine light cracklure throughout - not disfiguring. Minute hand bent. Movement winds, runs and strikes but not tested for timekeeping or longevity.

Also, lacking sections of inlay, including base and side of left pilaster, left side of top section of right pilaster front and side of upper section. Lacking some mouldings, including 8cm above right bracket foot and two beads on lower left door. Lacking cock-beads, including 5cm top middle drawer and 40cm, 2cm and 8cm of bottom drawer. Chips, dents and scratches consistent with age and use. Much water staining. Oval inlaid panels lifted and water stained. Lacking other elemants, including two handles. Drawers have swelled owing to damp etc..
Mitsubishi Lancer Equippe, Registration FY55 GLV, petrol, 1584cc, four door saloon, silver, first registered 28/09/2005, V5 present, no keys present, vehicle is currently unlocked but is temperamental. We are unable to obtain the current mileage of the vehicle as it is a digital dial and the battery remains flat and unchargeable.
