§ Joan Gillchrest (British 1918-2008) St Ives signed with initials (lower left) oil on paper laid to board14 x 19cmCondition report: Oil on paper laid to board (previously catalogued as oil on board). When viewed from below, the top edge shows the board, though this is not visible when viewing straight on. The paint with slightly glittery inclusions. There are two tiny specks of paint in the sky beside the church, a tiny accretion on the roof of one of the houses and another tiny brown accretion to the door frame of another. Otherwise in good, clean condition. From a private London collection.

The surface with some minor undulation and the margins toned and discoloured, and with some light foxing throughout. Other accretions in the margins appear to have been caused by flies beneath the glass, evidence of insect activity is largely confined to the margins, though there are some accretions evident in the lower left hand corner of the image and around the door in the centre of the image; a small number of flies can be seen beneath the glass on the right hand side of the image. The colours in the image appear good. See additional images.
Two unboxed Tri-ang Minic Bedford vehicles including a 'Push and Go' #225M Breakdown Lorry 'Minic Garages' in red and cream, overall G+ with hook and bulb in holder at the rear of the vehicle and clean terminals in the battery compartment together with a clockwork Express Delivery Van in red and cream, generally G, with rear shutter door and operational clockwork mechanism, supplied with a non original key. Two boxed Tri-ang Battery Operated Minic Cars in 1/20th scale, including an M.004 Jaguar 2.4 in dark red, F-G wth some surface scratches, partial loss to number plate decals and a hairline crack to the offside drivers door, otherwise appearing complete in a F-G box, and an M.002 Austin Healey 100/6 in cream, P, missing many parts in a F/G lidded box. A small quantity of loose, reclaimed Tri-ang 1/20th scale car parts including a Jaguar Chassis with tinplate seats, radiator grille, bumper etc., are also included as part of this lot. (3)

A collection of 19th-century metalware door knockers, to include a large lion-mask example, and a cast-iron lion fire dog, 27 cm high.Condition report: The lions mask has one later threaded studding bar with a brass nut and one from the lower hole is missing.The mask and acanthus knocker seems to have been fixed with rose head nails the stub of one remain and the other side has a vacant holeThe acanthus and knot knocker has two threaded bar fixings both with heavily paint encrusted square nuts the bars unscrew from the backplate.The elongated loop knocker looks as if the thread has sheared off and now has a very short threadThe ladies hand form knocker has a very short thread and a square nut that is corroded in place.
