A 19th Century Oak 8 Day Long Case Clock, the case with decorative diamond inlay to the door panel and further inlay to the borders and a swan neck pediment to the top. The clock with a square solid brass dial plate with brass floral spandrels. Silvered bass chapter ring with Roman numerals and a date and seconds dial. Walker & Finnimore, Birmingham movement, stamped to the false plate verso.
An early Victorian broad mahogany and inlaid longcase clock, the hood with broken swan neck pediment above arched painted dial set with rolling moon and inscribed "Jn Barnish, Rochdale", above short arched door flanked by ring turned pilasters to a plinth base, height 236cm. Please note the clock is sold with a dial but there is no movement, pendulum or weights.
An early 19th century mahogany inlaid musical longcase clock, the arched painted dial inscribed "Jno. Barnish Rochdale" above rolling moon phase and main dial set with Roman numerals and central dial inscribed "66th Psalm", "104th Psalm", "Evening Hymn" and "184th Psalm", the case with arched door flanked by inlaid pilasters above a plinth base, the movement striking on eight bells, height 263cm. CONDITION REPORT: Professionally restored throughout, so generally good. Appears complete and functional but we cannot guarantee accurate working order. From a local private collection.
An early 19th century mahogany longcase clock, the broken swan neck pediment above arched painted dial set with date aperture, subsidiary seconds and eight day movement inscribed "R.Wyatt, Plymouth", above arched door flanked by fluted freestanding turned pilasters to a plinth base and bracket feet, approx 222cm. There is a Robert Wyatt listed as operating in London c.1811. CONDITION REPORT: Well restored throughout.
A 19th century oak and mahogany crossbanded longcase clock, the broken swan neck pediment above arched dial with painted floral spandrels, subsidiary seconds and Roman numerals, inscribed "John Bloor, Newcastle" above rectangular door flanked by quarter cut fluted pilasters raised on plinth base, height 225cm.
A rare late 17th century marquetry walnut longcase clock, the hood with moulded cornice above 11" square dial set with silvered chapter ring, seconds dial and date aperture, with detailed pierced corner spandrels and engraved "Chr. Gould Londini, Fecit" with eight day movement flanked by half cut ebonised gilt heightened pilasters above a long marquetry inlaid door centred with a bullseye glass to a plinth base, the inlay centred with an exotic bird amongst detailed floral sprays, height 216cm. Christopher Gould operated in London between 1682 and 1718.
An Arts and Crafts oak smokers cupboard with central shelf flanked by two pipe racks above single door decorated with a man smoking a pipe, 40 x 46cm and an Arts and Crafts wall mounted rectangular pipe rack set with a copper rectangular panel embossed with fruiting vines and inscribed "Sweet When The Morn is Grey Sweet When They've Cleared Away Lunch and At Close of Day Possibly Sweetest", 22 x 77cm (2).
