Bright Saxmundham, breakarch painted with scene of a castle by a river, in a dark oak case with arched door and domed hood with turned columns and three ball finials, 221cm overall height (weight, keys and pendulum present)
1920s Swiss silver and purple guilloche enamel dressing table clock of small proportions, with Swiss timepiece movement and silvered dial with bright cut decoration, in a domed case with top-mounted swing handle, on four ball feet (London Import marks for 1924), 5.5cm overall height CONDITION REPORT General overall condition quite good, silver is scratched and some dings. Enamelling is reasonably good. Top panel is chipped on one corner. Side panels and rear door have lost some of the colour. Rear door is also slightly distorted. Front panel around dial is blistered and may have been repaired. Movement appears to be in working order but we cannot vouch for accuracy. Hallmarks are clear
William IV rosewood and mother of pearl inlaid table cabinet, the stepped hinged top with mirror to underside, above two-door front enclosing fitted interior, with fabric-lined compartmentalised tray and three drawers below, the lower drawer fitted with writing slope, raised on bun feet, 34cm wide CONDITION REPORT Slight veneer losses to extremities - back edge at top front right corner. Hinged cover encloses original mirror with stationery compartment (paper-lined and deteriorated) behind some deterioration to compartmentalised tray linings, losses to silk. Central fitted drawer similarly with deterioration. Maker's label to base of writing slope in lowest drawer for H. Castall, Jeweller and fancy depository 110 High Street, Portsmouth

Straton Edinburgh, in a mahogany case with shaped door with inlaid boxwood and ebony stringing and central shell paterae, hood with fluted columns and swan-neck pediment with decorative inlay and two gilt metal rosettes, 204cm overall height (weights, key and pendulum present)
Late 19th / early 20th century wall clock with chain-driven fusee movement, 12 inch white enamel dial, signed - Joyce Whitchurch 593, in an oak case, possible railway connection, case 41cm diameter (pendulum and key present) CONDITION REPORT General overall condition is reasonably good. However, the dial has been repaired in places and possibly repainted. Signature 'Joyce' appears to have been worn away at the bottom by the hour hand. There is some chipping around winding hole, dial securing screws and door hinge screws are not old. Movement has been cleaned at some time and may not be original to the dial as there is some evidence of other dial fixings. Case has been renovated and cleaned and therefore may not be totally original. Front glass hinge is bolted, not screwed. Side door and bottom door hinges and screws are not old. See extra images
Display of approximately one thousand, one hundred and fifty (1,150) Butterflies and Moths - contained in a fourteen-drawer mahogany cabinet, with panelled door CONDITION REPORT Dimensions: height 88.5cm, width 46.5cm, depth 46.5cm. Collected by the vendor from the late 1950s through to early 1960s. Every drawer has labels against most specimens.
