A mahogany eight day longcase clock, signed John Myers, London, circa 1780, pagoda pediment, stop brass fluted pilasters, nicely figured arched trunk door, plinth with raised quatre form panel, 12-inch arched brass dial with a silvered chapter ring, dial centre with a date aperture, seconds dial, engraved scroll decoration and signed, arch with strike/silent selection, five pillar movement with anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 244cm high02.03.16, Hood with the central circular fret damaged and some moulding and half the fret missing, finials are missing, front of the hood with later metal mounts, central mount with part of it missing, trunk sides with chips to the back edge, trunk door with minor cracks, plinth with small cracks, panel to the plinth with veneer slightly lifting, small scratches and scuff marks in parts, dial is discoloured, later hands, movement is complete but needs cleaning, with two weights and a pendulum.

A Japanned eight day longcase clock, gilt decorated case with floral, bird and oriental pagoda and figural scenes, 12-inch brass dial with a silvered dial bearing an inscription Richard Bullock, Ellesmere 151, seconds and date aperture, four pillar movement with anchor escapement, later case, 226cm high 03.05.16, Case decoration has been restored, front door is locked, plinth front panel with cracks, case side cheeks have been re-built, later case, dial is discoloured, movement is dirty, movement has no drive for the date, with two weights and a pendulum.
